Whew...having a hard time catching up with ya'll.

That's what I get for going AWOL this weekend I guess. I worked late on Saturday and then had bookclub with all my best girlfriends yesterday. Our book this time was
Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. It was an awesome book from the perspective of Frank Lloyd Wright's mistress. We all pored over pictures of FLW's work and planned road trips to go visit some of them. We also ate huge amounts of yummy food, including sushi(which I just learned to make yesterday

), and one of the girls made Wedding Day martinis which were sooo good. It was vanilla vodka, pineapple juice and amaretto which sounds kind of icky to me but were yummy.
As for the GARB panel, I don't know what answers they are looking for.

I answer truthfully and have gotten in twice. For the record, I never buy undies at Victoria's Secret or any fancy-schmancy places, usually JC Penneys, Kohls, etc. The first set they sent me were cotton and were sort of atractive. This last bunch are some kind of synthetic fiber and are of the granny panty variety.

I think they are supposed to be the kind that doesn't show seams, which is not something I worry about in my jeans or sweats.

I wish I could get in on some free bra study since I REALLY need some new ones.
Welcome turning40!!!!

To all that are having doggie, weather, eye, teenager or any other problems I've missed.
I just took a huge step(for me)this morning and have been on the phone trying to track down my training records from when I worked as a forest ranger. Next year, DH has agreed that I can plan to go out West on fire details to make some extra money!!!!

I have really been missing it lately and I feel like the kids are old enough for me to abandon them for 2 weeks a couple times a year. I would be able to make as much money in a couple of 2 week details as I do working part-time ALL year right now. I may have to pay for a couple of trainings this winter out of my own pocket to catch up on some things but I think it would be worth it. One of my best friends is the Assistant Fire Management Officer for the Daniel Boone National Forest and she is in charge of finding people when NIFC(National Interagency Fire Center) needs people to go somewhere. She is helping me figure out what I am certified to do and what trainings I'll need. Do ya'll think I'm senile?

Here I am getting ready to turn 40 and planning something crazy like this.
