Hey Maggie, I am a couponer to. Mainly with Target, I say Target pays me to shop there, lol! We have an extra fridge/freezer in the garage for all of the stuff I get! haha. We don't NEED to do it, but the way I look at it, if I save enough money on that type of stuff, I can justify 2 trips a year instead of one! lol.

I am working on MM tie dye today! One set for a customer, one set for me, and Chad's neice is here, so one for her to, lol. Hopefully I will have some pics for you guys tomorrow!~ I have gone through 3 boxes of dye.. and my hands are green. lol.

Tinker-we've made the shirts before but my colors weren't that bright. Did you follow the directions on the dye or make it a lot more concentrated?

I had an awesome Mother's Day. The kids brought me breakfast in bed(Krispy Kremes and coffee)along with a crown and bracelet they made out of newspaper and a new Mickey watch. Then I got to choose what we did the whole day, so we went hiking in Red River Gorge, had a yummy picnic lunch and stopped at DQ for ice cream. Hope everyone else enjoyed the day.

You know.. I have done soo many, and this is what I have found... I ALWAYS use 100% cotton shirts. I always use Jaquard dyes, and only fill them 3/4 full.. and I let the shirts sit for 48 hours before washing them. It is also important to remember color order, because sometimes it does not LOOK as bright (I am talking specifically about the MM head) because a darker color is around it. Example, if you use blue for the MM head, you should follow by a light color like yellow, not a dark one like green.

Oh! I had a great mothers day too, I got tickets to The Lion King Musical It is next weekend, I can't wait! Then DS and I spent the rest of the day in bed watching Disney movies.. ahhh perfect day!

Happy Belated Mothers Day to everyone. We had Ellie in and out of the pet emergency clinic all weekend. Apparently she has pancreatitis. She is much better today though.

Cassi, I LOVE your tie-die work. You are so good at it. I swear I could get that down pat (although i did save your instructions that you posted once- lol- I may try it sometime).

It really is easy to do, and a fun way to make matching shirts.. you know I will have to do a few onesies for ya

Our hospice nurse just came, and told me privately she does not think Jack will make it past tonight. We will see, he has surprised us by making it this far, but at the same time, I am ready for him to go to God and be out of pain. There are a lot of mixed feelings around here today.

Oh goodness, I hate to hear that, but know that sometimes the worst can often be the best in the end. I hope Chad is holding up okay. I honestly can't imagine what it must be like for him to have to go through this. Maybe Zac could take Wes for a bit if he needed to.

Ellie went down really fast. She is back up and running again but its amazing how fast it all happens. Its like when it rains it pours. I havent been able to fool much with our stray dog outside (but I have been putting food out). Jethro's back is all better- and we follow up with our reg vet tomorrow.
