Basically if you click "comment" after someone wrote something on your wall (say what I wrote) I will still get a notification saying you wrote it, but it will only show up on your wall, not mine. If you write on my wall (say wall to wall) it will only show up on my wall, but people who are firends with both of us can click "wall to wall" and see what we wrote back and forth (Say I added Shane, and he wanted to see what we were chatting about lol).

Gotcha! So the best way to write back to people without everyone in the world seeing it is wall to wall, right? And ofcourse if they are mutual friends (just like on myspace) people can still read your convo's and figure out the comments. Am i right?

Gosh-- its a lot more complicated than myspace..lol- but a WHOLE lot more people..

You've got it!! Once you play around on it for a few days, it is easier! Each one has it's pluses. I hate that you cant customize your FB page the way you can myspace. FB is def "more grown up" than Myspace lol!!

really? Seems like all the people on facebook i went to HS with are stuck in the college rut... partying, drinking, no marriages, no kids, etc (not that thats a bad thing at all)... most of my myspace friends have are married, have jobs, some with kids- lol!

That is funny! I guess it is different for everyone, lol.. FB did start as a college based thing, so maybe thats why! I might just think that bc all of my family is on FB, lol!

Spring Semester is finally over. My brain is fried and I love FB too. Mainly I chit chat with friends and some professor. I am taking a mini vacation before summer classes start May18. Then comes the awful paking we are moving to Bloomington Aug 23 a day before my Bday. I have some errands to run will check in later.

I'm a little miffed about something on the freebie thread this week. anyone else notice what when down with the free Pace coupon?? I would have loved to have gotten one, I put Pace on/in at least half of what I cook...but mere hours after it was posted the coupons were all gone...now normally I would just let it go, but then I noticed that I saw several people mention printing off 8 coupons each! Now maybe it's just me, but I don't think it is right to print off that many, even if the system might allow it.. What happened to SHARING this with everyone...not gobbling up all of one freebie for yourself???
anyway... that's my gripe for the week...lol.

What happened was rare... and in my opinion, it was a mistake. That coupon was never meant to get linked the way it was. That coupon was actually the winning coupon link in pace's website game. You had to play, and if you won, you got a coupon. Well... everyone played for a while- and then someone came up with the website directly to the coupon. It wasnt monitored to print x amount- because it honestly was only meant to print 1 time, not even twice like normal bricks coupons. I would say what happened is that pace got ahold of the mistake quickly and thats why it ended. It was never meant to be printed thousands of times like coupons on smartsource, etc. Those have print limites, and this one didnt.... those can be printed xxxx amount of times, but only twice per IP address. This was meant to only be printed once, and only if you won the game.
Atleast that was my understanding of it all.


Okay another facebook question-

Ive been commenting to people (back and forth as they write on mine, and i write on theirs, etc). Instead of clicking comment... i just go to their page and write the comment in. Well... I just saw on my "home" page what DH wrote to our old neighbor. So can all my friends see what I write to everyone else (even if i dont click 'comment" and i go directly to their page and write- even if they are not friends with them? Or is it because we are linked in a relationship? Or is it because we are both friends on there with the neighbor?). Im kind of confused...

Say Im friends with both friend A and friend B. I go on friend B's page and write something directly to her. Will it appear on friend A's home page thingy that I wrote that to friend B? Or will she have to go on friend B's page and actually look to see if I wrote something (like myspace).

Ahh I hope im not being too confusing- i think i started to confuse myself.

about the Pace thing...thanks...I thought something had to be up with that...it seemed a little odd for them to just release a free coupon after the whole game thing they had....

about FB: you can see it because you are both friends with the neighbor...now I don't know about your neighbor's privacy settings on FB, but EVERYONE/ ANYONE might be able to see it depending on those settings...
I have mine set to Friends only, so no one can see what goes on on my page unless they are MY friend. Some people have it set to everyone, some to friends of friends(which means not just anyone can see stuff, but if they are friends with one of your friends and you comment or they comment on each other's page, their friend can click on it and see it as well. )

I know how you feel. I have to start packing soon. We finally found an apartment and are moving the beginning of June. We have been staying with a friend since last June when my fiance was transferred to a different town through his job. So now we are very thrilled to finally be in our own place. It's the packing and cleaning part that I am not looking forward too.

Shyvioletisme-don't take it personally. There have been hundreds of freebies I would have loved to sign up for but was too late to the party. Many of them come and go before I even see them, especially since there are so many freebie sites out there these days. And never forget, us Freaps are a greedy lot.

Well im addicted to couponing, freaps. Todays latest is posted here with photos. I swear for some reason this brings excitement in life- this must say something about my life! LOL. But I did get these diapers for nearly nothing-- and everything else was just a free bonus!
