Aww, that stinks! I hate that! All of my friends who went to school out of state left this week, so I am pretty darn bored too. DBF is still working full time, so its not like I have alot of time with him either.

My friends have been gone this whole summer.
Which isn't so bad, because it starts in a day.

BUT..on the otherhand, i've been counting down the days since school let out. XD

I could be doing my book project since it's less then a month until school starts, but I'm so afraid that I'm going to fail it anyway....

It's so confusing. They want a paper written about how a main character (which, in this book..there ARE none) is characterized, and so far, I have no idea HOW i'm gonna write this.

Yuck......i always HATED school projects over the summer!!!!! Especially reading assignments. I always had alot.

I am going back to California and staying there permanently! It's 82 degrees with humidity at 62% here right now. I'm leaving for an hour's workout session. I'm going to be dead.

Like.. "Yayy, lets have fun" but NOOo now its like you CAN'T have fun, because you have the shadow of a book project due over your head!!

not to metion, the book they always assign us, is a really sappy story about african american pride/predjudism.

Which, I totally get and understand, people can get SO out of line with race.
One or two assignments per year with that subject, I can understand...but...EVERY assignment?
Why can't they assign us a classic for once?

I can't say I have that problem but I totally get where you're coming from!!! I mean WHAT is the point of learning about the same thing forever rather than learn about different things all the time?

I mean personally...I think we should be able to pick our own books...I don't like it when the teachers pick a book for us because if the kids aren't interested in the book...then they are more likely to cheat on the assignment or not read the book...and they won't have a lot of input in class discussion. I did that because this year I had to read Anne Frank and I'm TOTALLY not interested in the Holocaust (IMO) so I didn't read the book...I just flipped through the pages to find the answers.

My mom and I just got into a huge row. I was tired at physical therapy and my hip was killing me when she goes "You know why you're tired? CAUSE YOU DONT DO ANYTHING YESTERDAY!". Belittling me in front of everyone at the gym. I told her "All you tell me to do is clean. Whenever I ask to go out and do something you say no. Why don't you tell me what I need to do because CLEARLY I don't have an idea"


What she doesn't know is that all day yesterday I was sitting in my bed trying to embroidere a tea towel by hand for her birthday on Friday. I hope she feels fanfreakingtastic as she did when she made me feel 2 feet tall today.
