As for the soon to be departed AMC and OLTL.. I would love.. if the real Todd (Roger Howarth) would find himself in Port Charles! Tuc Watkins would also be a nice addition.

Since Katie Couric signed her talk show deal... does that signal the demise of GH?

It really is a wonder that GH wasn't one of the first soaps to be cancelled

Maybe we'll see a flood of new characters and storylines with the demise of the other two soaps.
I gotta say the beginning of the end for me was when they brought back an old Carly to play "Claudia". I really felt at that point the writers had no respect what so ever for the viewer or the history of the show for that matter.

I think it would be cool if AMC ended with Bobby coming downstairs from the attic!

This whole storyline with Brenda has made no sense. Did she think that there'd never be children involved when she married Sonny? Especially considering how fertile he is-look at the number of children he's fathered.

Tyler Christopher's acting ability has grown so much over his years on GH. Nik was so under utilized the last few years. The last storyline with Brook Lynn was odd and uncomfortable. I liked the twisted nature of Liz and Nik, they seemed good together on screen too. I will truly miss Nik... and Tyler Christopher.
Another main line character with incredible storyline possibilities wasted. It is so, so, so sad. I only can hope that GH is re engineering keeping in mind that core families like the Quartermaines remain vital to storylines. Also that the name is GENERAL HOSPITAL... not GANGSTER INCORPORATED. While the Corinthos storyline has brought some interesting concepts and characters to the playing field-it has also brought the demise of many other storylines.,,jmho

I guess this could be a spoiler so I whited it out. I am pretty sure I read this somewhere...

"Nik will be back for a day or so this summer to tie things up with Lulu since she was the original reason he came to PC."

Which would make sense since he did leave while she was busy away at the bordello.

I've been watching GH since I was a little girl (and that was a looooong time ago). I hate the thought that it will eventually be canceled. I wish someone would "save" GH, OLTL and AMC.

Loved Nik and Lucky's scene!!!!! Loved the "accent" bit too -- seemed like they both did.

In a perfect russian accent, nickolas replied, "who says I haven't been?"
(in other words, all along he's been fooling everyone with a fake english accent, )

This thread is one of my few links to the show at all anymore, but discussion of this scene made me go to youtube, which is very rare for me. This scene is worth it.
