Caught todays episode on SoapNet tonight... ah WEDDING HAIR... Holy Smokes.. GH hairdressers got a whole new load of hair extensions.. Lots of folks seem to be sporting longer hair today!

I did not mind the Balkan storyline .. until they added the Brenda baby thing... and the Suzanne rewrite thing....

also... if someone tried to sabotage your wedding, shredded your dress etc.. you would let her continue to hang around during the wedding prep? very screwy..

Agree. All of sudden Sonny is "Mr. Forgiving." Even if you could forgive Suzanne, wouldn't you keep an eye on her for a little while to make sure she could be trusted. ???

I think Dante should be Mr. Forgiving. Sonny shot him point blank in the chest just a few months ago and almost killed him, and now he's his best man.

I agree they need to give her some good material to work with. She is such a wonderful actress with such talent. I hate what they are doing to Carly too. This is General Hospital we need a couple new hottie docs to stir things up a bit.

I'm happy that Becky is staying ... not so much because of her storylines, or should I say, the lack thereof of good storylines that they've been giving her character, but for the principle of the point ... GH has been letting go of too many veteran actors over the years ... I'm still not really over when they killed off "Alan Quartermaine" ... yes, they brought him back as a ghost for awhile, but still ... then there was "Bobby", "Monica", "Audrey" & "Mike" (and I'm sure I'm missing others), and now more recently "Liz" ... and all to make room for characters like "Lisa" & "Siobhan" & "the Balkan" ?! ... puh-leaze ... I can understand the writers wanting to keep things fresh & new, but are they really even accomplishing this? ... still seems like the same old storylines all revolving around Sonny, Jason, Carly & the mob or their enemies to me ...

Now if it were up to me, I wouldn't miss or shed a tear for the departure of Dante, Lulu, Lisa, Siobhan, Lucky, Brenda, or Sam, one little bit ... but it's just my opinion ...

None of that came out. The only thing that really happened was Molly and Spinelli finding out that Theo's the Balkan...that was basically it. Oh and Carly made it into Brenda's dressing room to tell her that she's knows and that she'll tell everyone if she doesn't leave (although she hasn't actually told her that yet.) It's really being dragged out.

Does anyone else hate what they've done with the character of Brenda? Last time Vanessa Marcil was on, I adored her and hated to see her go. However, this time the writers are making Brenda out to be such a selfish, whining *itch that I wish Vanessa Marcil would become someone other than Brenda. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if this is how the writers want to depict Brenda, let her blow up!

Well, I almost completely agree with you. Lucky can stay because like Liz, he is a legacy character. If I remember when your parents got married and you were born -- you can stay. That's the only reason I'm not crying for Brook Lyn to beat it, too, because her storyline is asinine at best...

Yep, they're getting all the mileage they can out of this one. Dare I say the best acting I've seen from the entire bunch was from Molly? That girl is going places, but hopefully not too soon!

Yep, Brenda is pretty hard to stomach these days. Makes me see the Balkan's point...

Did anyone see last week's Castle? I finally watched it on tv, and then I realized why we hadn't seen Abby -- she had a role on Castle, and I thought she did a good job. That's another one I predict won't stay on GH long...

Did someone buy Robin a ponytail for Emma to play with? I'm just sayin'...

that sounds like a plan to me ... I don't know, I'm starting to wonder if it's the "character" of Lulu that I don't like or the actual "actress" (I forget her real name) who plays her? ... I know she won an Emmy in "real life" but I could never understand why ... or maybe like you said, it's all Dante's fault as to why I can't stand her ...

Hi, I am new to this thread, but just wanted to add (tho you guys probably already know) that Maya is one of the new Charlies Angels for the upcoming tv series..so I think Edward and Ethan will have to forge a new "deal"..unless Ethan leaves with her, Luke style.

I wonder if this is the reason why they are bringing up Kristina's crush on Ethan again ... I was liking the Maya, Ethan, Edward storyline and was wondering why we weren't really seeing much of it anymore ... probably another re-write by the writers ...
