Here's the Scoop! 02.05.09

**Jason needs Anthony alive to make sure the Feds bust ZaCrazy and not the Jackal. Jason is a good friend, Sonny needs to pay attention and take some pointers.

Is Spinelli going to get his hero cape to match Jason's? It looks like Spin takes some risks to save others but it's his brain that MAY be the real savior as he finds out what the Feds are really up to. RUMOR has it the Feds want the toxic spheres back so that they can turn them over to Equinox. Does Batman take advice from Robin?

Winnie! Sorry I like Senta Moses so I would really like to see what sort of story they'll give her. Remember, she's on the Jackal's side despite who she works for and let's face it, we have plenty of males in that age range, we need some ladies. Winnie SHOULD be working in a hazmat suit to get the remaining spheres but when she spots Spinelli also in head to toe hazmat, will she turn the Jackal in or turn a blind eye?

Johnny and Maxie didn't give in... I'm a little torn over this one. The pair is hot, there is no denying that but I do not want the Spixie friendship completely trashed so I'm glad they didn't go through with it. Lulu is not going to be feeling the same way. A kiss is not always just a kiss.

More Ethan today... More Ethan and Luke. Ugh! Sorry, I am not a fan of Ethan Lovett. I do not see the point. As much as I firmly believe Sonny does not deserve a big name to play Dante, I really hope this dude is not Dante. As for SCOOP on Ethan, RUMORS say he'll be revealing his Spencer connection. Remember there were RUMORS that his family and Luke have crossed paths before.

How slow is this storyline going? Too slow! And it SEEMS it MAY even be going slower than we realize. General Hospital tapes about 2-4 weeks out, meaning what they film today will air on our screen in about three weeks. Sarah Brown updated her Facebook status: Sarah Brown is going to work - GH fans - you are gonna love this Epi-splode! Have they not filmed the big explosion yet?

Basically everyone here knows I am a Liason Fan. BUT, I do not hate Lucky and Elizabeth when they are reunited properly. Elizabeth wants Lucky to take care of the boys should something happen to her and that kiss that's coming... well it SHOULD be happening on the hospital roof when Lucky gets Elizabeth up there to be evacuated.

Is Lucky leaving too? No. RUMOR has it he'll stay behind to help others. Nice, now you remember you're a cop.

Does anyone like this stunt? I read a lot, sometimes too much and I have to say when I see fans that like what we've been seeing, I am truly shocked. I know I have been overly critical of GH lately but I feel after all these years of watching this show five days a week, I've earned the right to be critical.

As I mentioned above I do not want Ethan to be Dante. There is still GOSSIP and CHATTER out there that GH is trying hard to land Tom Pelphrey for the role. What about Dante's little brother Michael? I'm still seeing that Michael will re-casted and SORAS'd.

We talked about Scrubs fans upset over no love scenes for the newlyweds. Once the crisis is over and all is well, you SHOULD be getting your love scene.

Leyla and Andy are dead, Trevor SHOULD be next. Monica's death will be teased. RANDOM and CRAZY RUMORS... Is Matt Hunter leaving PC? That's a RUMOR out there, one I find hard to believe without a little more info. Johnny has a meltdown. Ethan and Lulu meet. Will Lucky help his brother in finding out answers about Rebecca? The Feds still want to take down Sonny Corinthos. Patrick and Robin work on waking Michael up.**

This storyline is so ridiculous. When Epiphany got all mad a couple weeks ago that she had to shut down the ER, it was just laughable from that point on for me. I know we look the other way when it comes to realism on this show, but to think a hospital wouldn't have a set contingency plan in an emergency is just plain stupid.

And it never ceases to amaze me how everything must always be about SASON (Sonny and Jason). I know the idiots in charge have a hard time comprehending this, but a lot of viewers don't like the mob! I hate Sonny. I barely tolerate Jason. I'm just sick of it. I've written, I've called... after a few years went by and it just got worse, I gave up. Guza doesn't listen, he just stupidly writes more and more innane mobular stories.

The only good part of this crisis has been more Patrick scenes, Liz and Lucky reconnecting, and Edward actually being onscreen for more than a cameo. I hate Jason and Elizabeth together, as does everyone I know who watches the show, so pushing her back to Lucky is probably the best part of this for me. I don't like JaSam either, but I'd gladly put up with them if it meant not going through another round of "Will they or won't they be together?!!!" Jason/Liz drama and no Lucky/Sam. Can't stand either pairing.



I believe one of the mags said he had skin cancer on his face or head, and his DR. told him to wear a hat at all times. That's mighty strange advice IMO, unless there's some research showing set lights can cause skin cancer.

I agree with EVERYTHING you've written. As a LONG time viewer, this has got to be the most boring, that I've seen the show become. It really has become something that you can catch one or twice a week on Soap Net...or record and speed through. I also agree it's a soap and you cut them a lot of slack as far it being realistic. What bugs me the most is the back and forth between characters..whether it's Jason/Liz....Liz/Lucky..Carly/Jax. Carly/Sonny...
It goes on for MONTHS...even years sometimes. It's boring and tedious at best. THEN they bring the characters back full circle, leaving the viewer irritated, and feeling as if they wasted their time watching.
I feel the writers are out of touch with who their core viewers are. Killing off main characters, and anchor famiies. They've replaced them with an endless array of actors they can pay less. Only...they don't interest us.

The one good thing about Soap Net is that it's exposed me to other soaps, that I find much more interesting, and frankly that MOVE way faster than GH.
I find myself watching a couple of others now, rather than GH. With GH I check in once a week and can be pretty much caught up. In fact..come summer time, you don't even have to check that often..maybe once a month. NOTHING ever changes, and if it does..it won't be long before the writers drag you right back to where the viewer started with these characters, making you feel as if you wasted your time watching.

And then, she gets lost, in a town she's lived in all her life? So she bundles up this sick infant and starts walking into the woods(I guess she wasn't driving on a paved road with signs?) I can't watch any more, I turn it on and then jsut go about my business.

Moving on, how about the kids from C A P E R (anyone remember that kids show?) in the Haz Mat suits? None of the guys looekd old enough to shave and they are there to save mankind from a biotoxin? Must be a cost cutting measure!

My daughter was walking through the room when they showed Robin walking in the woods with the baby..and we were saying the same thing. She asked me "why would she take a newborn out in a blizzard...isn't SHE a doctor?"...why wouldn't she call in a script to CVS and have her husband pick it up on his way home..or something like that. (she doesn't follow the show, and is unaware Patrick is saving the town from a biohazard!...lol)

The whole minivan thing...Please..they have ONE child and they bought a brand new minivan?

Heck I have two and don't have a minivan. To me it's just a sign that you are available to chauffer the whole gang! I say this as I am about to leave to pick up a bunch of kids and ferry them to lunch and then District Honor Band rehearsals (but my ML 350 will only allow me to take my two and two extra!) Older DD13 asked if I could get a larger SUV or a van next, no way! I'd like to have more cargo room but no more seating, lol

It's just confirmation that whoever is writing..is very out of touch. Nothing against mini van's. I had one..been there done that. Only I didn't have one, when I had ONE child. Also...with my youngest being 17...we didn't have as many options then as there are now, in regard to SUV type vehicles. I see WAY more people...even those with 3 or 4 kids, driving them rather than minivans. The crossover type vehicles are hugely popular now for that very reason. Not so "minivanish"..yet can get the job done shuffling the kids around town. Two professionals..doctors yet...driving a mini van for the one child they have...very '90's. Too many other options available now.

Just like who ever wrote the storyline where Liz(a nurse) and Lucky (a police officer) had no health insurance and were poor as church mice was ridiculous. The likelyhood that neither one of them wouldn't have SOME type of health care, was absurd..and made it tough to watch.

Has it been explained why Ethan has such an accent? Because of that, I keep thinking he can realistically only be tied to Robert Scorpio. But then, I need to keep in mind that GH isn't very realistic.

We only have one child DS 4 mos and we bought a mini van on his two week birthday. Friends of ours have a daughter 2 wks older than DS and they also bought a minivan at the same time. Our car is way too small after all the baby crap. Though it did kill us buying a mini van---we never thought we would be the type especially since our car was paid for. Though we love our mini van!

Oh and we bought the minivan bc gas mileage is much better than an suv. Also we liked the sliding automatic doors and easier to get baby out. 3 rows of tvs didn;t help either for those long trips when the kids are older (and they can each watch something different which is nice)


Oh I keep on forgetting two things that have bothered me.

1) Robin leaving for the hospital (this was before her ditching the van) She leaves and Emma is sick but yet that child was not protected from the cold??? She's sick (and even when shes not) COVER HER UP!!

2) Lulu doing the PSA about the heart association Go Red when Maxie is the heart survivor on the show as well as ephipany. ????

The people bashing Robin have you ever had ppd? I have and it can get very severe... The way they are trying to protray it is that Robin only has one thing on her mind and that is to get her baby to the hospital to get help. She can not see what is going on around her. This does happen to people in real life. They need to educate more people who are watching the show. Not everyone knows the true depth it can take you. I think they did a pretty good job with Carly when she had it and I remember people still bashing her.

Now the minivan. Whats wrong with people getting a mini van? I love ours. We got our first one after the first child was born. 4 mini vans later we still have one and couldnt' imagine our lives without one. Its a personal preference.

I also want Liz and Jason together. I think he should go FBI now that would be a great change to the show. He can be Lucky's boss
