I tried to catch a little GH on the SOAP channl this morning and was so disappointed when the replay was Night Shift. I have tried to get into NS but it just does not hold my interest. Anyone else feel this way or do most love the NS?

I love/hate NS. The continuity differences make me crazy...last year the finale was a car accident victim being wheeled in and it was a Robin double. They also toyed with a Brenda return. None of that was carried through this season. Now, on NS Patrick is GH's Chief of Staff because Dr. Ford died...we don't here about this on GH though, and yes, the juror plant died on NS(ok..she was a different character, but still..) What I love is the history they are using of Robert and Jagger. I just read that the finale for this season will include Anna and Luke and they are bringing back Sean and Tiffany for a reunion! Can't wait for that

I have never been able to get my head around Alexsis and Jerry. Am I the only one who thinks it's EXTREMELY STRANGE to say the least, that she would be involved with the MANIAC who held hostages in the Metro Court? I mean he outright shot Robin right in the gut, and pretty much killed Allan..not to mention that her daughter was in there..and her cousins wife (Emily). It just doesn't make sense...okay ..it's a soap..nothing has to to make sense. Only this is really stretching it for me. The very idea the guy got out of being charged..is as strange as the the trial for Johnny with Scott being the prosecuter. WTH?....

I agree!!!! Everyone is always talking about how dangerous it is to be around Sonny and/or Jason, but they all seem to feel perfectly safe around Jerry. I don't get it.

I don't even remember, but WHY is it that Robin didn't press any charges when Jerry SHOT HER IN THE GUT! With about 50 witnesses. How is it he got away with that. Never mind..it's a soap..they get away with anything, Only they all still know what and who he is, even if he did manage to get away with something that would have anyone else in a high security prison, on death row! So then you have Alexsis who has thought that Sonny was the most dangerous person who walks the earth and doesn't want him as Christina's father (might have thought about that before the "deed" was done)...yet, she dates Jerry. Just YUK...

okay, so the show just started, and it already seems a bit confusing- why does Patrick see himself in Matt? We haven't seen Dr Drake announce that Matt is his son other than in promos. Also, no set up for Spinelli setting up Carly's online dating profile.

PCPD couldn't prove that Jerry Jax was Daniel Craig. Jerry blackmailed Robin/Nikolas into not turning him in by doing something with Emily that made it look like she had committed Treason (a capitol offense). If they turned Jerry in, he'd turn Emily in. However, I was stumped why they didn't turn Jerry in after Emily died. Just figured it was one of those "writers dropped the ball, and they're hoping you forget" incidents.

Still even MORE of reason for Alexsis to have had nothing to do with the nut job. She supposedly loves Nicholas, who was her only living relative for years, but she has no problem with getting involved with someone she KNOWS has murdered people, and tortured her cousins wife in the Metro Court. Yeah..that was a MUCH better choice than Sonny. They've turned her into a ditzy whiner. Too bad.

I know Carly really hurt Jax but I can't believe what a creep he is being by taking Layla out to the Metro Court. What has it been, like a week since Jax said it was over? What a jerk! (I know, I know, Carly slept with Sonny. )

Yes, there was DNA test and the results got switched so it showed Mr. Craig and Jerry Jax were not the same person.

If he really was moving on, he would have gone elsewhere, and not wanted to look at his wife while he was on a date.

Okay..call me old fashioned..but whatever happened to not dating until one was at least legally seperated...let alone divorced.

Also...just throwin' this out there...but is there EVER anyone on the soaps who gets married, and actually stays married. You know..works through lifes problems....or for that matter just LIVES with what life throws at them .and eventually if you hang tough, come out on the other side TOGETHER..not divorced. It does happen ya know...only you'd never know or see it on the soaps I guess.
While I know it's not as dramatic, but if it were well written, it could be. It would be more interesting to me than watching Carly do the internet dating crap..and Jax date incredibly young nurses! (who by the way, if it weren't for his money..they wouldn't be looking his way) I must be getting old, because I just don't relate to the kid stuff(Spinellie/Maxie which is cute..and I realize you need the younger viewers to grow along with the show) I also have grown extremely tired of the whole "mob thing..be it the coffee mobster or the new pshcyo who comes to town. It's been done..and done, and done to death.

I thought that Jax acted like he "wanted" to make Carly jealous. A taste of her own medicine. It was really bad form though to take Layla to the hotel he owns with his wife.
I can't even watch Sonny and Kate. Gives me the willies.

I read an interview once with a soap writer who explained that marriage is the beginning of the end of a soap opera relationship. If you think about it, it really is true. I first noticed it with Mac and Felicia--- as soon as they got married, they changed her character into a cheating deadbeat mom. And, then I started thinking about other marriages--- it really is the beginning of the end in most cases. Bobbie and Tony lasted a little while--- I think 5 years. Sean and Tiff lasted. That's the longest I can think of. Luke and Laura obviously lasted a long time until the rape storyline was brought back up. Actually the longest marriage I can think of is Alan and Monica. Not a marriage made in heaven, but they lasted.
