Oh wow! I had no idea this GH thread existed! I’ve watched (not daily) since around 1998. I cannot believe how long they’re dragging this Peter stuff out.

And I'm sure in a day or two we'll find out that Peter --- with a GSW to the shoulder -- was able to either: A) Cling to rocks on the side of cliff and get himself safely to level ground; or B) He landed in the water (without hitting any rocks along the way) and was able to swim to safety.

And I find it interesting that when Anna came across Peter in that little clearing and stood there having a conversation with him, I never heard rushing water in the background. But as soon as Peter jumped off the cliff, I could hear rushing water.

I think Jason is going to be the one left reeling. Carly might have feelings for Jason, but Sonny is back and Carly will be thrilled to have her family together again. Jason is suddenly all alone and will try to hide his feelings for everyone else's sake. He'll probably turn back to Britt, but she might not be ready to forgive him.

I don't think (at least I hope) Sonny will ever have warm feelings toward Nina. She basically stole 9 month of his time from his family. She deserves to have Carly and the kids rip her a new one and turns their backs on her for good. She'll probably turn back to Jax or Valentin for comfort. I don't see Jax forgiving her easily because Josslyn was one of the people affected by her actions. I don't like the potential Anna/Valentin pairing. I think Nina will realize that she and Valentin are more alike than she originally thought. She can hardly blame him for his deception after she was turned out to be no better. He's about to be deeply hurt when he learns the baby isn't really his. Perhaps they will commiserate and rebuild together.

The only thing, Nina knows Bailey isn't his. I'm sure Valentin will not be happy Nina was also in on the lie. I do think Sonny and Nina will get together. I have to think when the dust settles Sonny will start to realize how happy he was in Nixon Falls with Nina, a much simpler and safer life.

If Carly welcomes Sonny back with open arms, I'll be a little upset. After all, more than one person mentioned to him that he might have a family out there grieving for him, yet he made it clear that he was happy with his current life in Nixon Falls and had no desire to look. So I think he kind of turned away from Carly, too. But then, I'm about a week behind, so maybe all that has been worked through.

Good point. That hasn't been worked through yet, I think everyone is just happy to see him back.

I have a feeling Esme has some secret connection to Ava. Possibly Ava gave a child up for adoption we don't know about? Just the way she really wants to punish her. It's like her fight, not Spencer's.

I've was thinking something like that too. She seems too into wanting to torture just some random woman.

I looked it up because the new Nikolas had me confused at first. I read that he was only going to be on today. No reason was given.

Oh, and I can't stand Esme.

I agree, I think Esme has some connection to Ava...and now I'm thinking she also has a connection to Sonny. I can't remember the entire Ava/Sonny storyline, but I wouldn't be surprised if in the next week or two we find out they had a one-night stand about 20 years ago and Ava either placed the baby for adoption or was told the baby died but she was actually just taken away and raised by someone else....because Lord knows, Sonny doesn't have enough kids yet.

I don't think they actually slept together. Didn't she stop them and say he had to find out who he was before she could go further with him?

Yes, that's the conversation I remember. I don't remember there even being any hint of them sleeping together. Of course, this is soap world so....

I can't wait to see Carly go off the deep end when she finds out that Nina & Mike/Sonny were romantically involved. She's *really* going to lose it when that happens...especially if she hears it directly from Nina.

I cracked up when Josh told off Esme when Esme said how tough it must be to always have a body guard, and Josh said it had its advantages because she could tell her bodyguard that someone wasn't nice to her, and the body guard would "take care of the situation". Boy, that girl can take care of herself-you go, Josh!

I know a lot of people like her, but I can't stand Carly. I was ready to punch her in the face. Joss is just like her mama. Wait until she finds out that her daddy knew about Sonny for months! And what kind of friend/sister-in-law is Maxie to go blurting out everything to Carly, especially since Nina knows about Louise and almost died protecting her and James from Peter? That's gratitude for you!
