I'm going to guess that Sonny will interrupt Carly and Jason's wedding because it looks like Carly is starting to have feelings for Jason. So now she might not be as happy as she would have been maybe even a month ago that Sonny is alive.

Found out last nite that Steve Burton tested positive for Covid-looks like the actor will be out about the time of their wedding. Maybe Jason will get shot at the wedding and be in ICU!

They may recast him for the time Steve Burton is out. They would have had to re-write the script on really short notice to explain why Jason is no where to be found right when he's suppose to get married.

They film at least six weeks ahead, so the wedding scenes were most likely done before Steve Burton's Covid diagnosis.

I was wondering the same thing...why didn't security see Esme setting Ava's car on fire???? I'm about done with the Sonny/Mike & Nina storyline. Yes, Jax needs to stop dragging his feet and just get to Nixon Falls. I'm still guessing that somehow Mike/Sonny will get hit on the head and remember he's Sonny and completely forget everything from when he was Mike. And Nina will have her secret to keep....except she has that picture of her and Mike/Sonny as her wallpaper on her phone and certainly *someone* will see that eventually. And this all needs to happen before Jason & Carly's wedding so that Sonny can walk into the ceremony and put a stop to it and/or the chaos that the other families will certainly be planning. I guess that's how they're going to stretch out Carly & Jason's wedding happening "tomorrow" over the next 2 weeks.

I was also wondering what they were going to do to drag this on for two weeks since the wedding is “tomorrow“. I ’m also thinking that maybe Sonny is going to arrive as the five families are doing whatever they are planning to really add to the confusion. I would think Jax wants Sonny back so that it would put an end to Carly being the head of the family... and of course somebody’s going to have to get shot. But who will it be? Joss, Sasha?? It would be a way to write Sasha off screen for a while since the actress did just have a baby in real life. Or maybe they will just kill her off. We really don’t need her LOL especially with all the new characters they are bringing on

I read speculation that they made Glady's hair blonde for a reason. Perhaps she will be mistaken for Carly from behind and take a bullet meant for her. Works for me!

I was just going to say this. And I think I read that they were able to shoot around his absence and just catch up when he was back on set -- that it wouldn't cause a problem with filming.

Am I the only one who was rolling their eyes (and possibly yelling at the TV) when Mike/Sonny was sitting in the middle of that fire *talking* to Nina rather than carrying her out of the building???? WTH? Jax grabbed what's-her-face (can't think of her name for some reason....Lenny's wife) and ran out of the building but Nina and M/S had to sit there and tell each other they loved each other and take their good ole time getting out of there. At least that beam fell and hit Mike on the head....that should have him waking up and being Sonny again. And hopefully he won't remember anything about Mike.

I just want this whole storyline over with. It is soooo ridiculous. "I can't tell you who you are, Nina said she would." "I can't tell him, I love him." It's like high school love drama........

I'm sure Sonny will remember now, just in time for Carly and Jason to say their I do's and then have to explain that to Sonny. This will also help Nina get away with what she did. He'll have no memory of being Mike and they can pretend they just found him.

OMG, I kind of laughed at the fire/Nina/Phyllis/Jax/Sonny-Mike scenes.
Very drawn out IMHO....

I agree, so drawn out. I also didn't understand why Jax didn't tell Phyllis to run out while he helped Sonny get Nina out since she was half conscious.

We also have Sam and Dante falling for each other just in time for Drew to come back into the picture. I know Sam and him were not a couple at the time he disappeared but I'm sure the old feeling will coming flying back when they see each other again

Totally agree with everything you said. And I think that somehow Nina will convince Jax not to tell anyone about the whole Mike thing....though I'm not quite sure how they'll convince Phyliss to keep the secret. But one way or another, the truth will definitely come out (maybe from Peter????) and the sh!t will hit the fan when Carly finds out that Nina kept the secret. And I'm sure Nina will turn around and blame Carly since she *did* try to tell her about Sonny one time but Carly flipped out on her for her behavior with Wiley so Nina just kept the secret.

The kids only appear when they really need the cute or scared kid factor in the storylines. I don't think Sam is raising her kids anymore, they spend so much time at the Quartermaine's...I'm sure the little ones (Scout and Leo) think they are siblings and the nanny is the mom.... LOL

I could have all sorts of palace intrigue and crazy near death escapes if I had someone raising my kids; out of sight, out of mind....

Well, I have to say I kind of like how (real)Mike came to Sonny and convinced him to return to his former life. I wasn't expecting that. I just thought Sonny would wake up in the burning building and know who he was.
