The GH Official Thread Part 3

The actor who played Cyrus did a great job these past couple of days, he showed real raw emotion, Genie Frances too was great. I wonder if they can redeem Cyrus and keep him on the show.

My son, the college theater major (who just graduated!), sometimes catches GH when he's home on breaks. I asked him last week who he thinks the best actors are. He doesn't know all the character names, so he described them as follows: Mob Boss (Sonny), Mob Bosses' Wife (Carly), Lady with Short Blonde Hair (Ava), Ponytail (Cyrus). He said they make good acting choices and always seem to be on their game.

I also think Jeff Kober (Cyrus) is a great actor. He makes you really despise the character, which is his goal. Cyrus is very manipulative and it takes great acting skills to convey what's going on in his mind. He can also make you feel that twinge of sympathy for Cyrus, because he clearly just wants love and approval from his mother and Laura. But then you realize he's evil and doesn't deserve it. He's nominated for a Daytime Emmy and I hope he wins.

Did anyone else notice how Austin (formerly Todd) stared at the wall in the hospital the had a sign saying something like "this wing was dedicated ..Michael Corithos for head trauma"? I can't remember the exact wording but he seemed to be very interested in it.

I thought possibly he’s a neurosurgeon, saw that they have a specialty ward and is interested in a job there? Either that or the Corinthos name means something to him.

Kirsten Storms (Maxie) had brain surgery.

Kirsten Storms is on the road to recovery after getting brain surgery.

The General Hospital star, 37, shared a series of videos on her Instagram Story Friday telling followers that she had gotten surgery earlier this week and was heading home from the hospital. Despite the ordeal, the actress remained in good spirits and was cracking jokes throughout her posts.

"There really is no filter that's going to make this better for me right now," she quipped in the first clip.
"So I've not really spoken about this much or at all actually. Less than 48 hours ago I had brain surgery, hence the neck brace, it was on the lower portion of my brain. Em is taking care of me until I get to my at home nurse," she continued, referring to her friend and former costar Emme Rylan.

"It's been an interesting last couple of days," Storms said.
Storms went on to explain that the surgery was done to remove "a very large cyst that had split into two."
"What they had to drain and remove was not cancer — I want to clarify that right now before the internet goes crazy wild with rumors about this," she said. "I had a very large cyst that had split into two and the doctor said it was like so full the pressure was very noticeable when they opened up my skull, sounds so weird."

As for her recovery, the actress said she plans to take several weeks off before returning to work.
"So I will be on the mend for the next several weeks but I will be back at work when this is over with," Storms added as Rylan assured her, "You can take a moment."
"I feel like s--- so we're gonna go," she said in the next video. "Pardon my language but I think that I've earned it today. So yeah, we're going to get me home."

Storms concluded her videos with a quick clarification that she wasn't coming straight out of surgery.
"I had the surgery a couple days ago so yes I was in the hospital for a few days — we're not taking me straight home right after brain surgery," she said.

I feel like Kirsten Storms has had a lot of health issues. I hope she recovers well.

I did too, but I think it was just to throw us off and was really nothing. I feel like there have been a few looks with that whole situation and has been nothing...I do wonder what the plan is for his character.

Yeah, I could see maybe it being his specialty and getting a job there, but I don't think there's more to it than that.

I guess SORAS Starts in the womb because Sasha sure went from finding out she was pregnant to being rather far along 🤣 and I think this is when we finally find out that Chase is really Gregory’s son and not Finn’s.... probably why the antidote didn’t work. He was using his blood with Jackie’s and he needs Gregorys. Let’s see how long it takes for him to realize it lol . And hoping that “Mike” comes to visit Nina very soon and gets this ball rolling

Yes, I think Sasha's pregnancy is moving right along at break-neck speed. In fact, I was thinking while I was watching the show that it seemed like Maxie was pregnant for a year and based on her belly size and the u/s pic, it looks like Sasha is going to deliver in about 2 months. :D

And I agree about Chase really being Gregory's son. I just hope we don't have to wait 3 months for that whole situation to resolve.

Why wouldn't Finn be Chase's father? Is there some reason someone would have fooled around with the results or are there hints there was a mix up in the lab?

I've been thinking about Britt and the Huntington's Disease. If it came from Faison, shouldn't there have been an issue with Peter, Nathan, and the "next generation", Maxie's children (except for Georgie)-Louise and ?(I can't remember her invisible son's name)? I don't remember any discussion of whether or not they should be tested. Was there and I forgot?

It's possible that Cyrus messed with the paternity test results to get back at Jackie for interviewing his mother about him and his misdeeds. Her story was published in the Invader after she and Martin found Florence in Vermont with Bobbie.

Oh yeah, forgot about that.

Peter supposedly got tested and didn't carry the gene.
