They never made it a secret that Roger Howarth was never leaving but would be playing another character but I mean.... we're all supposed to pretend he doesn't look like Franco???? And you would think Maxie would preemtively let this stranger in the woods know that she escaped from being held captive. But then again.... that's right, this is a place where we can all get a phone call and be in Ireland the same day lol.

They did the same thing with Michael Eason. He's played several unrelated characters. He got killed as Silas Clay, then reappeared as Finn. No one batted an eye. I don't know this for sure, but I suspect GH wanted to end its affiliation with James Franco because he's been accused of inappropriate behavior with his acting students. The character still had the Franco name and perhaps GH no longer wanted him connected to the show in any way. That's just my thought. Like Michael Eason, they liked the actor enough to bring him back as a completely new character. Anything goes in the soap world!

As for Maxie, I kind of think she had no choice but to put it all out there. Her situation could hardly get any worse at that point. This guy walks up and she's just happy to see someone who's willing to help her. It's just her luck that he's a doctor!

Jason and Sam were together for so long-kinda surprised to see him in bed with someone else. But what I noticed was that they were back to pre-Covid love scenes. During the height of Covid, people didn't kiss.

I think I also just seem him as a very non-sexual character...like he's all business and too responsible to let feelings get in the way lol. For whatever reason I don't have the same yuck factor with Sam and other ppl... - I guess that could be in part cause we've seen her with others when Jason was missing/dead.

Ok so now Elizabeth doesn’t see that Austin looks like Franco, Portia couldn’t grab that gun away from Cyrus while he was fading???, Nobody hears Maxie screaming at the top of her voice at Peter??? And what the heck kind of private detective is Curtis that he hears Cyrus, knows something is not right and just busts in without surveying the situation. Yes, yes, I know.... it’s a soap opera lol

I agree, was just ridiculous no one heard Maxie screaming at Peter when she was in a cubicle no less, not even a room. Curtis is just an idiot busting in there, it was also unbelievable that Cyrus would let them leave, knowing they would just call the police.

I'm a day or two behind, but can someone please tell me whether or not Peter is dead? If so, I'm thinking that GH is setting this up as another big murder mystery-who killed Peter? Everyone hated him. Do you think that maybe that's what the writers are doing? We haven't had one of those "who dunits" in a while.

Right now all we see is Peter lying on the landing, with blood coming from his head, presumably from falling down the stairs. We don't know yet if he's dead or alive.

Fynn and he were in a struggle and Fynn pushed him down the stairs...Elizabeth came up the stairs and saw and they're acting like Fynn would somehow be in trouble, so they're being dumb and covering it up.

Did Elizabeth and Finn move Peter's body somewhere? It sort of sounded like that, which doesn't make sense. All they had to do was leave the stairwell and let the police discover the body. I doubt they would find foul play since he could have easily just fallen down the stairs since he was desperate to get away.

Of course, we all know Brook Lynn will not want to give Maxie her baby back when it comes time to and how will Valentin react when he finds out Bailey isn't his.

That's what it seemed like to me as well...like they took him somewhere he'd never ne found (morgue?? had him cremated??? ...i realize both of those options seem to not make sense, but maybe it does in the Soap world???

I think Brooklynn will be ok giving her back, but I do feel for Valentine...guessing he'll eventually chalk it up to his punishment for his role in the Peter crap.

All so ridiculous! But, yes it is the soap world. If Elizabeth and Finn were so worried that he would be held for and investigation, why didn’t they just concoct a story that Peter and Finn were struggling and Peter accidentally fell. Elizabeth could be the witness. Much easier cover-up. But then again, if everybody knows that Peter is dead then Maxie could have her baby back and where would Brooke Lynn’s storyline go. So are we going to now spend the rest of eternity searching for Peter and Maxie can never have the baby back For fear that pier well find he? Yes, the Soap world lol.[/QUOTE]

Yep, definitely Soap World, but sometimes it can be so frustrating when they do such ridiculous story lines. I assume Cyrus will be off the show,, either by death or arrest. So where does that leave the Sonny storyline. Most of it was how can they deal with Cyrus with Sonny not there. If Cyrus is taken care of, do we really need Sonny to come back.

The actor who played Cyrus did a great job these past couple of days, he showed real raw emotion, Genie Frances too was great. I wonder if they can redeem Cyrus and keep him on the show.
