Prospect Park reserved the rights to the characters' names and sued GH to stop using the characters hence the new characters. Oh yeah, John McBain is now Dr Silas Clay now, surly brother of Stephen Clay. Suspend all belief at the door!

yep, and wound up dead and frozen in a walk in freezer somewhere IIRC. He was also the last Storm Logan on BnB (which I've never watched but always thought that was a cool name). Committed suicide in such a way that his sister could have his heart for a transplant.....

I agree, so now "Todd" is Franco (???) and they're trying to make him likeable (?????) and more sympathetic because he's (surprise) Jason's twin (!!!!!) and has an identical brain tumor. See what I mean about disbelief?

I'm pretty sure Ava is a third sibling, maybe they'll write it like she was too young to be part of the family business way back when. Olivia IIRC was either killed or sent to an insane asylum. Not that being dead stops anyone in PC from coming back LOL

so glad I caught this! Had Directv out to work on the dish and wouldn't you know it, as soon as the man left my local ABC went out on the DVR box that was recording. I was able to catch the photo on my kitchen non DVR box. Guess I'll watch SoapNet tonight in the bedroom if they don't get back out here to swap out this box!

English is Holly, Robert's ex-wife and the mother of Luke's son Ethan. She was last on GH shortly after Robin "died."

The guy is Sean Donley. Sean was the head of the WSB contingent in Port Charles back when Robert, Anna, Luke, Holly and the rest of the gang were running around trying to save the world from the Cassadines and Faison in the mid-80s. Sean's wife Tiffany was the anchor of the local TV news. I remember they lived in the penthouse that eventually became Sonny's... across the hall from Jason and Sam's penthouse... and there was a secret room with computers and phones where the agents did their secret spy stuff LOL.

I loved Sean. He was Robert's best friend and I think he was basically Robin's godfather.

Now THIS is where things get extra interesting. Sean's wife's sister was a woman named Cheryl. Cheryl and Robert had a relationship at one point... Robert thought he was the father of Cheryl's baby. ***Julian Jerome*** actually was. I think he was already "dead" at the time so Julian's claim on the baby was a non-issue. When the baby was born, Cheryl thought the baby died, the baby was actually sold on the black market to Bobbie and Tony. They named the baby Lucas after Luke. Once the truth about the baby's origins came out, Cheryl got her son back, but she soon died. Bobbie and Tony fought Sean and Tiffany for custody and the Joneses won. Sean and Tifffany left town after that.

Now, that means Lucas (who was last seen on the show several years ago and Bobbie apparently lives in Seattle with him now) is Julian Jerome's/Derrick West's biological son and SAM's HALF BROTHER! I'm hoping Lucas returns to the canvas because of this - maybe HE will be the donor for Danny somehow - I mean, we can't have them reveal Derrick's real identity to the other characters just YET! It would also be a GREAT addition to the Felix and Brad storylines, as Lucas was basically GH's first openly gay character.

I'm baffled how Sean fits into the Jerry Jax/Faison/Britt's mother evil trio. I'd HATE to think he's a bad guy now, but I think back in the day he might have worked for the DVX (if the WSB was the CIA, then the DVX would be like the KGB).
