What was up with the new random women today? Plus the girl who ran the DNA test for Spinelli? Enough new characters!

I know, I'm already fast forwarding through Jason and Elizabeth and all of the Connie/Kate mess. Something ele to pare down my viewing time!

No such luck!! Look how long Erica had her disorder on/off on OLTL, and then, her daughter had it too. I guess that means Connie/Kate's new-found son will end up with it too a couple years down the road.

Can I just say I love Joe Scully with Tracy? I know I shouldn't, but man, they have chemistry!

And Starr is a much better liar than that. Her gene pool is full of conniving deceivers!

GH is once again must see tv for me, with or without Jason.

I can't decide if I like the insta-GH personnel or not. They literally popped up out of nowhere. As long as no one goes psycho over Patrick, I'm ok with it, I think...

I love the idea of Trey with DID down the road. Far down the road.

And for the former OLTL fans -- Bree Williamson aka Jessica is appearing on "Haven" on the SyFy channel. She looks good!

I know there are plenty of former rapists walking around GH (Luke, didn't Todd rape someone? I never watched OLTL). I thought for a while that maybe Kate was raped but Connie wasn't... Meaning, young Connie did come on to Joe as he said... could Connie have already been around to protect Kate from Sonny by fooling around with Joe?

Then Connie came out to confront Trey this week and it certainly seemed she believed it was rape.I am still wondering if there will be yet another alter that was having a fling with Joe. OLTL had at least three alters for Viki if I remember correctly.

**Kristina obtusely resists putting her signature on any annulment, to spite her mom and dad.
You’ll never guess what Connie pulls, using Johnny.
Johnny won’t have much of a choice, either. Connie sees to it that he loses any escape hatch.
Catching Kate hanging around Johnny makes Carly nervous, and suspicious.
Connie strong-arms Johnny into agreeing to their next scheme, with his John Hancock on a certain kind of promissory note.
Johnny does as he’s told by Connie. But then has Carly-remorse something fierce.
Carly visits with Johnny, but he can’t deal with her presence as his guilt and terror rise. Johnny has to beg off from a visit and have her leave momentarily.
Johnny wrangles Todd into dispatching Connie from his life for good (missing person’s report?). If Todd does this for Johnny, Johnny swears he’ll pin down where Heather is.
Joe Jr. concocts another means to undo Sonny & Co.
Joe Jr. is sitting on another hot little secret.
Maxie hosts a Bachelorette Party to end all bachelorette parties for Kate, to take place at the Floating Rib.
Maxie’s Bachelorette Party becomes a big, fat dud. That’s okay, Maxie recruits Lulu to fix everything.
Maxie doesn’t know that she’s having to deal with Connie, not Kate. Connie’s a Bridezilla too, with her zany bridal ideas. Maxie is at her wit’s end. If Maxie isn’t careful—and when is she?—Connie will have a target on her back.
Even Sonny is taken aback by Kate’s offbeat, un-Kate-like wedding style.
All the pre-wedding fun distracts Sonny from going after Trey—and pinning down who the dad is.
But when Sonny’s Bachelor Party comes around, the mobster is finally able to corner Trey.

Anna works on Todd to get him to spill the secret and make JaSam happy.
Anna probes further, to provoke Todd into giving up Heather’s current whereabout.
Johnny pipes up about what Heather might’ve been blackmailing Todd with.
Even though they are separated, Jason and Sam let the Yi clan take them back to that impromptu wedding for an anniversary acknowledgement.
Despite their moving on, Jason and Sam get that feeling again—they can’t help it—and lean in for a real kiss.
Spinelli and another character persist in pushing Jason to pursue the mystery of Sam’s infant death.
Jason goes back to GH to review a DNA folder John McBain hands over.
Elizabeth slithers over to Jason and John to lend her assistance. Oh no.
What the hell is Elizabeth doing? And what is she thinking? There may be more to this story.
Carly goes into that same Chinese restaurant, where Sam is still hanging around. When Carly sees Sam there, she approaches, hoping to bring JaSam back together.
Carly tries to get Sam to see that there’s still a chance with Jason, because he loves her most. Carly downplays Elizabeth as a non-issue.
Carly puts Elizabeth in serious check about leaving Jason alone for Sam.
Carly floors Elizabeth with the latest (probably what happened between Jason and Sam).
Yet, Elizabeth will not be deterred from Jason. She beelines it to him back at GH. He just happens to be there for the DNA test results.
The DNA test results astonish Jason.
Carly relays to Shawn that Alexis and Jax were once a married couple.
Shawn interrogates Alexis about her feelings for Jax and their past.

Felicia exhorts Maxie to chase after Spinelli until he’s back in her arms.
In what feels like a separate soap opera altogether, over at GH, Sabrina pines away for the dreamy surgeon Patrick. But he has eyes only on that ***** Narcissist doctor.
Patrick takes Dr. W to the Floating Rib for their first date, where they come across Mac. Patrick feels weird about that.
Patrick tries to make sense of his date to Mac, like he’s still married to Robin.
Sabrina takes care of Emma back home during Patrick’s awkward date with Dr. W.
Sabrina’s babysitting hits a few snags, but she means well.
Patrick tries to ease Sabrina’s mortification as a babysitting screw-up. He promises Sabrina that he and Emma had great fun with her.
Dr. W frowns because she just got wind of Patrick saying this to Emma, not her.

Next week: Sonny and Kate’s doomed wedding reception commences at the Haunted Star… Sam and John McBain stand on the precipice of a new romantic relationship together—if they dare. **

**Connie’s stupid scheme is to hook Johnny as her unwilling new husband first before pretending to be Kate, Sonny’s blushing bride, according to a Daytime Dish insider (Post #1034).

Depending on the soap media source, Sean Kanan will either reprise A.J., thus screwing over the last recast—Billy Warlock—or, he will take over where Steve Burton last leaves off as Jason.

In Trixie’s Dirty Laundry, circa September 14th edition, she contended that head writer Ron Carlivati might be writing an exit story for Steve Burton (Jason) with a re-entry clause. Burton’s departure has stalled many plans for other stories, including the wrap-up to Robin’s kidnapping. Reiterating the “librarian” hint left by RavenBeauty several weeks ago, Trixie also stipulated a strong possibility of Lucy Coe returning to replace Kate at Crimson when the fashionista goes bonkers and goes to the funny farm.

Jerry verDorn (ex-Clint, OLTL) might cross over to GH soon, based on a recent Soap Opera Digest drop about the actor meeting with executive producer Frank Valentini, formerly from OLTL.

According to Trixie’s September 21st Dirty Laundry, Sean Kanan is most likely coming back to reprise his GH role as A.J., not as the Jason recast. Trixie also asserted that originally Scott Baldwin was selected as the mastermind of Heather/Susan Moore, head writer Ron Carlivati’s had to revise to connect Heather to Franco, and that A.J. is the real boss in charge of the baby switch deal. Not only that, but A.J. may romance…Elizabeth!

TPTB may or may not be trying to get the original Emily, actress Amber Tamblyn, back on the show, along with Stuart Damon’s Alan, for the eventual reveal that these two Quartermaines never died but have been kept hidden, ala Robin. **

Sad but true.. Luke, Joe Scully and Todd.. rapists.. however Todd was convicted of the rape of Marty Seybrook back in Llanview a long, long time ago right? Luke and Joe not so. I lapsed in my OLTL viewing but that conviction was never changed was it?

Also hasn't Tracey always had an eye for the "bad boys"? I guess that is why I am surprised by her pushing Joe away so quick.

I have to disagree with the Tracy/Joe JR love......I find their scenes kind of uncomfortable to watch. I usually FF through them! When they kiss it just makes me want to puke. LOL

I LOVE Elizabeth and thinks she gets a bad rap, so I'm gonna be ticked if she does some DNA switch on the baby. PS, I haven't watched today's yet to see if that happens. As another side note, my brother is a forensic chemist and even the most rushed DNA test takes weeks.

I don't like Elizabeth's character..but I HATE to see yet ANOTHER switched DNA test. It really is OLD already. How many times are they gonna swtich DNA in the GH lab.. Why the heck anyone would have a test done at that hospital is beyond me, lol

GH must use the same lab as the hospital in Llanview!!
I agree, some storylines are just over done.

the best babyswitching storyline, though was the crossover one... between AMC and OLTL. Kelly (from OLTL) wanted a baby to keep Kevin and her brother Paul happened to know Babe (from AMC). baba and bianca were in an abandoned cabin during a thunderstorm.. (SO MANY abandoned cabins in sopa operas) BOTH gave birth! Paul took Babe's baby boy to give to his sister Kelly in Llanview. but then babe woke up and wanted her baby and Paul was afraid of JR and Adam Chandler, so he gave Bianca's baby girl to Babe, and tole Bianca her baby died.

hmm, don't remember how he got a dead baby girl, tho. maybe kelly had a baby girl that died? yeah, that's it. but kevin didn't know yet if it was a girl or boy, so it was ok to give kelly a boy, and Paul didn't like babe. but then he got scared and took biancas baby and gave it to babe and gave bianca kelly's dead baby girl.. who she named Miranda.. and bees named the real Miranda Bess. and it was a couple years before it was discovered the babe's baby was in Llanview and bess was really Miranda.
babe's mom crustal found out about the switch, but didn't know there was a baby boy.. just thought that babe's baby "girl" died and didn't want to break her daughter's heart.

so it was back and forth between soaps for a while..

um.. did I put everyone to sleep yet?

Is it wrong that I secretly love Connie wants to ruin Sonny's wedding? I'm sick of him and his "one true love" of the moment. Is it Connie? Is it Brenda? Oh, wait, maybe it was Carly -- he did marry her 4 times...

And can I just say I am giddy at the idea of Sean Kanan romancing Elizabeth? That poor girl needs her own man. I am sick and tired of the way she has been written. I have always been in her corner, and find something to like even when she's wrong. But considering her own paternity issue, issues (Aiden, anyone?!), this is not credible.
