David Lewis was a great Edward. John Ingle was a great Edward...
Both men made Edward their own.. with quirks and nuances.

John Ingle will be missed. He would light up a scene.. no matter if he was doing dastardly deeds, ranting about family or speaking lovingly of Lila. When he appeared on other shows, he stole scenes. . A fine actor, a lovely man... a life well spent. May God Bless him and those that mourn his loss.

Idk, I read that Steve Burton was leaving the door open if he ever wanted to come back (assuming GH doesn't get cancelled of course).

I saw something somewhere that said his leaving was much less his idea than was being reported and that the producers had pulled something similar to what happened when they pulled a switcheroo on the actor playing Todd & were bringing back the original actor who is Todd on GH now, sort of sandbagging the other guy. Now there's news of Sean Kanan quietly coming back, which could be because AJ is "dead" & they want a surprise reveal or possibly they're going to have him play another character, even his own brother.

I also saw something saying Steve Burton will be appearing very soon in a new role on the Young and the Restless. Who knows anymore with all the cuts and changes in the soaps. In a way I'm glad I can't be watching the show anymore in case they cut GH. I have memories of the show going back to when I was four, back in the days of Jessie Brewer. Sure hope the show survives.

Yup. And if I remember right, Leslie Webber helped deliver AJ, not knowing that the baby she was delivering had been fathered by her husband. At some point (I think it was just as AJ was emerging), Monica yelled "This is Rick's baby!" or something similar. The reason I remember is that at the time, I was pregnant with my son, and my best friend and I were GH fans. After that, she teased me about what shocking fact I would yell out to everyone as my son was being born.

Yes he's Michael's bio dad. But Michael is grown now so its not like there would be visitation or custody issues. And Michael views Sonny as his dad. So they might be able to get a little drama out of it, but not as much as they could have when Michael was younger.

I FF through anything with Jason in it. Can't get invested in a short timer! I don't like him with Elizabeth, I wish she would just disappear with her holier than thou attitude. Sam I'm liking with Michael Easton, but he has chemistry with a door knob (case in point, Natalie on OLTL ) Let Heather fixate on Jerry, they're a match made in psycho heaven and you know he's not dead. Hook Todd up with either Tracy or Carly and send Johnny and Joe Jr. and Joe 3 aka Trey away. Oh and lock crazy Connie up for good. My rant is over now.

**Sam watches, heartbroken, as Jason and Elizabeth kiss each other. Decision made.
Sam has a chance to be there just as Elizabeth declares herself. But does Sam split too soon?
Carly puts Elizabeth on notice, watching out for Jason.
Spinelli implores Sam to give Jason another chance and not be so hasty with that divorce.
Sam talks to John McBain, remembering happier days with Jason, especially on their unorthodox wedding day.
Sam authorizes divorce proceedings, sad but sure.
Sam and Jason end up at their Chinese restaurant on the anniversary of their wedding.
Jason and Spinelli make headway in their secret investigation of the “death” of Sam’s newborn. They just need to ask a certain individual some questions. This key character disappears.
Jason examines the DNA test results, bug-eyed.
Jason reaches out to John McBain, to see if the detective can’t be of further service.
Anna and McBain head out to OLTL’s Llanview to see what they can dig up.

Forget about Connie? You won’t this week.
Kate and Sonny contentedly ready themselves for a lavish wedding, including a bachelorette party.
A silver medal Trey is sporting catches Kate’s eye. It’s all downhill from there.
Kate connects Trey’s medallion to Joe Jr.’s before her alter Connie resurfaces, taking over.
Connie resurfaces because she is the one to name that connection: Trey is Joe Jr.’s and her son.
Connie and Trey tangle verbally, bringing up a strange sense of familial entanglement.
Connie tries to put the screws to Johnny, so she can put the finishing pieces to her revenge wedding plot. This will screw over Kate and Sonny but good.
Connie arranges it so that Johnny cannot possibly turn on her at the last minute. Her insurance policy.
Sonny asks Maxie to be his and Kate’s wedding planner. This would go over well with Kate. But it is not Kate who in charge right now. It’s a vexed Connie, who does not wish Maxie to be in control of jack.
Maxie can’t help but be alarmed by Kate not acting like herself. It’s especially apparent in the style “Kate” seems attracted to, garish, loud, brash—the opposite of fashionista Kate.
To herself, Connie cackles maniacally about giving Kate, Sonny, and their wedding guests something to remember, in a less-than-splendid way.
Joe Jr. intends to insert something nightmarish into Kate and Sonny’s wedding festivities as well.
Sonny has figured out who Trey’s dad really is, and relays this in a conversation with Michael.
Sonny sells Joe Jr. out to Tracy, by unmasking the cad.
Tracy washes her hands of Joe Jr., just like that.
Joe Jr. endeavors to win Tracy back by reminding her that they have something too good to pass up.
Tracy just will not give Joe Jr. the time of day.
Tracy cannot overcome her destroyed trust in Joe Jr., try as she might.

Carly pesters Jax about the lies of Johnny and Todd. But she’d do better going straight to the source.
Jax means to get to the bottom of Johnny and Todd’s lies, for Carly.
Carly takes a huge leap of faith, going down one particular path in her romantic crossroads.
Todd must reach out to Johnny for a leg up, as much as it’s killing him.
He needn’t worry—Jax has never seen Alexis in that way and never will—yet Shawn makes sure there aren’t any feelings between Alexis and Jax, at least on her part.

Sabrina’s crush on Patrick gets thwarted by his impending date with a Dr. W.
Patrick makes sure his date with Dr. W is still a go.
Sabrina daydreams about Patrick falling in love with her and their being a perfect couple.
An opportunity arises to be close to Patrick when Maxie can’t babysit Emma for his date with Dr. W. Just as Patrick is about to tell Dr. W he can’t make their date, she points to Sabrina as the perfect babysitter.

Olivia experiences a psychic moment, but this one isn’t so pleasant. It’s about Steven Lars.
Steve becomes thunderstruck by the latest to go on.
Steve puts a chill in Lulu and Dante with his startling diagnosis.

Next week: Jason opens up the results of the DNA test, enlightened… Kate’s bachelorette party, hosted by Maxie the wedding planner, will surely be an entertaining one… Elizabeth puckers up, kissing Jason one more time… Elizabeth gears up to declare herself to Jason, just as Sam comes strolling by. The question is: what, if anything, will Sam do if she gets wind of this?... Patrick goes out on a date with this female doctor – when, oops!, he catches sight of his dead wife’s uncle Mac. Awkward. **
