Ric decided to take a chance on a decent life. He had fallen in love with Elizabeth and proposed to her. Faith wanted Elizabeth dead so she could have Ric to herself. First she put a snake in Elizabeth's studio, and Elizabeth was bitten. Shortly after being treated for the bite, Elizabeth found out that she was pregnant with Ric's child. She and Ric were very happy. An angry Faith pushed Elizabeth down a staircase, and Elizabeth miscarried. When Ric learned that Elizabeth had been in conversation with Sonny shortly before he fell, Ric believed that Sonny caused the miscarriage. He purchased a house for Elizabeth and himself, a house with a panic room, unknown to Elizabeth.

Carly and Sonny were busy preparing for Jason's and Courtney's wedding. On the night of the wedding, Ric kidnapped Carly and put her in his panic room. Carly was pregnant; Ric announced that once the baby was born, he would take the child, and he and Elizabeth would raise it. Meanwhile, Ric was doctoring Elizabeth's orange juice with birth control pills so she wouldn't become pregnant herself. Well into Carly's captivity, Elizabeth found the secret button to the panic room and pushed it. When she saw Carly, Elizabeth suffered an embolism, thanks to the combination of the birth control pills and the shock. Eventually, Elizabeth remembered seeing Carly, but by then, Lorenzo Alcazar had found her and taken her, using Carly as leverage for his own plans.

Don't be impressed. I remember the jist of it but had to google to be sure of all the details.

Up until this time the writers had kept Liz and Jason away from each other. Someone decided to throw us Liz /Jason fans a bone and have Jason go to the hospital and visit Liz.

That is correct. Then Jax found out it was Nic's kid and somehow Carly found out too but they burned the DNA results so Jax could keep Spencer. I think that was kind of the start of a relationship between Jax and Carly.

Courtney died during the virus outbreak at GH.

It looks like Heather's storyline is coming to an end, which is a shame. I really enjoyed having her on the show.

By the way, I haven't heard she is leaving, I just don't see how her character can stay on since everything is out in the open.

True, but remember, this is GH, where Sonny has shot how many people and never served time and Ric Lansing locked Carly in a panic room while pregnant and still became DA?

Holy Smokes! Cliffhanger Fridays have certainly stepped up to the plate at GH!!

I gotta say that I look forward to GH, everyday! Certainly a big change that was sorely needed.

Tony Geary must have filmed a bunch of scenes before his usual summer vacation. I think it was very wise of GH to do so if it is the case.

Is anyone else afraid that GH will be canceled if Good Afternoon America does well? I have been reading on the GH Happenings website that GAA is on for 9 weeks and if it does well, then GH may be canceled.

So this website is advocating for boycotting GAA.

I don't know what I would do if GH was canceled.
