The GH Official Thread Part 2

Am I losing my mind or is that a different TJ?

Yes it is a new TJ, this TJ used to be "Chris" on Everyone Hates Chris, he's just grown up a little but yes he and the original TJ are very much alike.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE GH now (and it used to be myleast favorite soap.)

of course, roger horwath had added SO much!!!! no one can deliver a line like he can.!!!!!

I think the new TJ was Drew on EHC. Chris was just in a Disney Channel movie and is definitely a different kid.
I really didn't see the need to recast TJ at all. Wonder what that was about?

Maybe the original TJ went to college or something. Seems like the recast coincides with going back to school.

Today's episode was chock full of good stuff. Now, I just might have to continue to watch just to find out who has those blasted cards.

I took a few years off from GH starting in 2005 or so. I started watching again when Brenda came back. So I missed a few years. Is this storyline with the cards totally new or something that has been mentioned in the past? I thought it was strange when Jerry said who helped him steal the cards. I thought maybe there was a storyline that I missed somewhere that may have related to all this.

All this strife and death over a deck of cards? Really?

Not a deck of cards but a hand. So, 5 cards total. I remember this being mentioned when the Jacks family was around more.

Now I am trying to connect the other name Jerry dropped today. When did that person and Jerry ever meet up?

Not saying the name, don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched yet today.

Wasn't Sam involved with Jax while looking for the hand? I think Jax's father died during that time too.

I know I am a horrible parent, but I let my DD11 watch when big things like this Jerry trouble happens. She said "What? This is all because of some cards? How dumb is that?"

You aren't a horrible parent. I started watching when I was in third grade. I had to ride the bus to my grandmothers house after school. Well my great grandma lived there too and was a huge GH fan. So, if I wanted to watch tv at that time, I had to watch GH. Well, I have been hooked ever since.

I started watching As the World Turns at about 4. My aunt would watch me and that was her show. I watched it all the way through till it went off the air and I'm now 37.

You are just molding her ;)

My fondest childhood memories are of watching the stories with my grandmother and the grandmother of my kindergarten friend. I can remember watching the Secret Storm when it was 15 minutes along with The Edge of Night. Now people may think of JR Ewing or Sgt Nelson when they see Larry Hagman but to me he'll always be Ed Gibson.

A bad mother. No way! I'd rather have kids watching a good soap and then talking with their parents and learning something then playing video games all day. Sigh, I tried but boys are just not into them as much as girls.
Although my son did say, he made a lot of friends with the girls on campus as he know what was going on with the soaps LOL

My DH gets all nuts when my DS5 randomly hums the GH theme song!

I am 44 and didn't get into watching GH until high school, been watching ever since. BUT I REMEBER Wtching Young and Restless and Search for tomorrow, lol.

I'm also confused why Duke would want to kidnap Robin. I don't remember him and Anna parting on bad terms. He was always a good guy so this makes no sense. The only thing I can think of he kidnapped Robin so she wouldn't be poisoned, thereby saving her, but again, why would he want to poison everyone. Makes no sense.
