I never knew other places did Towel animals... Thought it was just a disney thing.

Yes they do. We had a towel animal every night on our bed when we went back to our cabin on the Carnival Cruise Ship last year. It was fun to get to the cabin and see what new animal we'd find that night, lol. Sometimes they'd take my sunglasses and put them on the animal, it was great, I loved it.

Naughty? I'm not sure I know what you mean...we only had animals. The 1st day was a walrus, then an elephant, then a pig and finally the monkey (my favorite, he was hanging from the TV)



When I cruised with Royal Carribean we didn't get any towel animals so I was suprised too! There was even one day on the cruise where you could take towles from your room to one of the showrooms and they were teaching people how to make their own towel animals. Plus Carnival sells a book too.

Our cabin boy left us a towel that was not an animal but instead a body part. He had been teasing a lot with my DH and I think that was why he did that. We had an elephant, dog, naughty, teddy bear and I forget what else now, lol. Did you buy the book? I thought that was the coolest thing, those towels.

Oh! Now I get it! I'm a little slow sometimes... I didn't buy the book. I'm going to see if I can find it on ebay. I do that all the time now. I see something in a store and come home and see if someone is selling it on ebay. It works!

I just looked on ebay and amazon and I guess I should have bought it on board. Way more money on those two than on the ship! Oh well, I guess I don't really need to make my towels into animals.

Yes occasionally there are things we don't buy because we figure we can get them online on ebay or amazon and find out we should have bought it. Believe me, been there done that, lol.

Well maybe next cruise then you can wow any of your guests who come visit with little towel animals on their beds. Wouldn't that be cool? Theyd' be so impressed. I always wanted to do the fancy linen napkins the way they do at parties and restaurants but never can get mine to come out looking elegant like theirs.

Reward? Did someone say reward? That got my attention. I cruise by but there hasn't been any action here in I don't know how long so haven't stopped, just kept cruisin by. I hope all the threads pick back up in the fall. Everyone must be doing their summer thing and are too busy to join us here??? I miss the chats here as well!!!
