The Galley Changes Dinner Time

Starting this week, the Dinner Hours at The Galley have been changed to 6pm to 10pm.

Please pass the word, it has not been very busy and they need to justify the reopening during the dinner hours.

Sorry to hear that they haven't been busy. That was the problem when I worked there also. There are so many restaurants around the lake area and with EPCOT just a walk away, most people don't even think of the Galley when they are ready for dinner.

I hope it's open for dinner during our visit in October. We visit the YCG almost every trip for lunch because it is nice and laid back and we enjoy the food and service as well. There's really nowhere else like it. I just think a lot of people don't know it's open for dinner or may not even know about it at all.

We loved it for breakfast and hope they keep it open for lunch and dinner! It's just such a nice, quiet place ....

Anyone had any of the appetizers? Curious about the size of the portions. The reason I ask is that the the Classic portion is mostly sandwiches/entree salads and there only three true entrees, and i am not really interested in them. However, I could see order the side salad, maybe the chips (to share with spousal unit) and then have the crab cakes as an entree if they are a decent size.

They haven't been open for dinner for very long. Hopefully word will get around once they've been open for a while. We stopped there twice on previous trips only to see they weren't open for dinner. So I'm hoping they stick it out. The area really needs another "family" type restaurant, as the Boardwalk restaurants fill up fast during busy times.

I really hope they give it some time to catch on!
I love the place. The menu looks great. I never see any of the restaurants busy before six anyway, so maybe this is a good thing.

We're hoping they keep it open for dinner also. We are going in December and staying at the Beach Club so it is a great place for a group of 10. They had the most wonderful pasta dish on their menu but I see it is not on any more. Oh well, will have to try something different. I'll keep my fingers crossed. The restaurants at the Boardwalk just don't do it for us.

They haven't served dinner in a couple of years. This is a whole new menu and new chef. I think the new menu is very creative for simple food.
I bet if you call ahead a few days, they will make it for you.
