When you say " modify" are you asking about doing your own thing to make them more personalized ( decorating ) ? If so, no there are no rules. The MBs still work and many people have reported CMs complimenting their art work.

when i say "modify" i mean, cut off portions of it, reshape it,and drill a hole through an end to install key chain hardware. personally, i like bracelets, but i can see why people would want something different. it's not like it'd be hard to do so i thought maybe there was some rule and that's why the anti bracelet crowd hasn't run wild with modifications.

What I would like to see/be able to do is pay for things using my MB without having to be a resort guest. I mean it can't be that hard they already have my card on file and linked to my AP account which my MB is linked to. It just seems silly that even though it's linked to my account and therefore my card and that I can use it for admission I still have to whip out the same card to make purchases

Resort guests are not charging to their CC but to their room which then requires them to settle up either at the end of the trip or if they have reached their limit.

Disney would have to have a way for you to set up an account with them where you would then have to use your card to again, settle up.

I don't think you can have the MB replace your CC for individual purchases and I'm not sure Disney would want to take the risk running you a tab.

But they already have my only card on file for my AP which has my signature so all they should require is authorizations to use it for purchases. And technically since I'm on the monthly payment plan for my AP they already have a tab running on me and have had so since it was instituted.
I understand that it might be logistically harder than it sounds to me but not impossible

I think Magic Bands will at some point replace "lines" for rides. I think you will use the bands to "check-in" at an attraction and then it will give you a time to return for a short wait.

Funny you should say this. Was told last year by IT CM that their ultimate goal is to have no waiting for the rides. How many think this has a snowballs chance in you know where of happening. Lol
