I like to hear from some of you of your funniest moments you had at Walt Disney World.

Well, I didnt see this until I got home and watched our video, but we lived it, and it was very funny! 3 CMs offered us a front of the line pass for Test Track(all FPS were gone for the day) if we stood in front of TT and sang the Mickey Mouse song. Like fools, we did it. The ironic thing is this is my mothers favorite song that she has been singing to all the Grandkids since birth. She was in her glory and this was like a big test for the rest of us. ;)

but I have heard of a couple sitting on Main Street at one of the little cafe table and chairs eating corn out of the can:p

Can you just imagine it:confused:

They are lovingly referred to by we pintraders/collectors as the "corn people". They don't even know how famous they are.

It was a very hot day in March a couple of years back so DH and I were sititng having a nice cool drink in the shade out in WS. A family came along in with their winter coats (the kids even had winter hats still on) carrying and dragging their suitcases. Dad was shouting at them to keep up as the hotel was just a little further down this way....????

I felt very sorry for them, they obviously had come into the park thinking they could easily just cut through to maybe one of the Epcot Resorts out International Gate. I always wondered where exactly they thought they were going..

After having his picture taken with Mickey Mouse, my husband accidentally said to him, "Thanks, Donald." The indignant posturing by Mickey was very funny. :)

We were walking out of Epcot just before Illuminations one night in December and we heard this awful noise. It sounded like metal grinding on concrete. Well, it was. There was a man pushing a double jogging stroller with no rubber left on the tires. He was riding on rims with the rubber tube part flapping around them. He was pushing like there was nothing wrong at all.
We saw them again outside waiting for a bus and realized that they were also carrying a bicycle pump. I guess it has been a problem for a while.
I actually took a picture of it and we giggle everytime we look at our vacation pictures.
It is going to the scrapbook some how.:p

ROFL!

I just read my DH the post about the people dragging their suitcases through WS. We don't know if we should laugh or cry! :p

we went in july of 2001. just DS and i. DS was 5 at the time. we went to go onto big thunder mountain and the very nice CM at the front of the entrance asked DS to stand at the sign. well, DS just had to know WHY! the girl told him it was to see if he was tall enough to ride. he measured up just fine and then turned to me and said "mama, are you tall enough to ride?" that pour CM just about died laughing!

to you give you a mental picture~ i am 5 feet tall 0 inches and DS was something like 44 or 45 inches tall at the time.

Although some people think this is a little cruel, most people find it funny. A couple of years ago, we went to Disney Quest, and there was this school group there. They were junior high school age. There was this one girl in this group who was obviously Miss Popularity, and the one who ran the show for the group (she reminded us of Jennifer Lopez, so we started calling her baby JLo).

So, we're waiting in line behind Baby JLo and her croonies to get on the Buzz Lightyear bumper cars. We strike up a conversation with a woman and her son, and we are noticing how Baby JLo is telling everyone who they will ride on the ride with. She starts letting kids cut the line to get in front of us (she let about four or five kids in, and more were on the way by the time my friend and I and the mom and son block the line so no one else can get in front of us). Baby JLo sees someone who she'd rather ride on than her first partner choice, so she blows partner number one off, and gets partner number two off. This girl just had the full attitude going.

So, by the time we waited in line with Baby JLo for 10 minutes, we had it with her. She was loud and obnoxious (interupting the cast member giving instructions and all that). So, I climb into the drivers seat, and my friend climbs into the gunner seat, and we had one goal in mind. We were going to make sure that girls car was spinning around as much as possible. We hit her car with a ball, she goes spinning, and she gives us one of those "If looks could kill..." looks. She just glared ice darts at us. But, we continued to bombard her with balls, and bumps in the bumper cars.

When the ride ends, we get off the ride, and the mom and son walk over to us, and the mom says, "We just kept on going for that rude girl."

I guess we just took advantage of the opportunity to get as many bumps in on the girl as we could. It's funny that someone else was gunning for her as well.

On our last trip I had to go to City Hall (think that's what it's called) on Main Street to ask some questions. I left DH outside with DS 6 and DD 4. Apparently the horse and carriage came by and the horse pooped on the street. Of course at 6 and 4 potty humor is just the greatest (and DH thinks it's pretty funny, too:rolleyes: ). Disney is usually pretty good about quick clean ups but this time no one was around. So DH tells the kids "let's see if anyone steps in it". So they proceed to sit there laughing hysterically as several people narrowly miss it. A middle aged guy finallly walks by and is so intent on taking in the sights of Main Street that he steps right in the pile. He then proceeds to do a 360 degree turn to look at all of the buildings without ever realizing that he is standing in a huge pile of poop! By the time I found my family they had just about laughed themselves silly (luckily they could see the guy but he couldn't see or hear them). Of course I pretended to be horrified that they would laugh at someone's misfortune but it did sound pretty funny. My kids still talk about it - all the great stuff at WDW and horse poop is one of their fondest memories.

OK, the horse poop story is funny! Of course with my girls being 4 and 7 their sense of humor has rubbed off on me. Yes, I can see that being quite hysterical to them and I would have to try hard to control my laughter as well!

This is horrible, but it was very funny.

I was walking from the parking trams to get onto the monorail. We ended up walking behind a woman, her husband, and their 3 or 4 year old son. The woman wasn't watching her child, or where she was going, and ended up walking SMACK into one of the support posts. Those posts are about 4 - 5 inches thick, and she smacked into it so hard you could hear it still going BOING after she'd hit it.

I usually don't laugh at others misfortune, but when she started laughing, I lost it. I had the giggles for the rest of the day, and still get them thinking about that.

Great thread!

When I was an obnoxious unruly young guy, my friends and I had great fun walking by people with video cameras in WDW and talking loudly about the rough bowel movements we had earlier. It may not be funny to those reading, but to us it was the funniest thing ever devised by deviant minds.

If anyone has these comments on their videotapes, I apologize.:p

There was also the time my brother in law to be decided that despite the cool (55 degree) morning weather, he would go to the park dressed in a t-shirt and a short bathing suit. "Its FLORIDA!" he said. "It'll warm up! By noon, you guys will be roasting! We were in pants and jackets, but there was Matt, freezing his way through Tower of Terror. The temp got up to about 62 that day. To this day when its cold outside, I ask him why he isn't wearing his summer gear.

See...it's not always the attractions that we remember...but what others do! heheh

On one of my trips with my honey in December, we were sitting in Epcot on a particular hot day having a smoke (in a designated smoking area!) and an iced coffee. I think it was right near Universe of Energy.

Anyway - do you know those "water fountains" that spit water up from the ground? If you don't watch where you are walking, you'll get water up your shorts?

Well, there was a little boy playing in it...not sure of the age, he was in diapers and walking though. And was stripped down to just his diaper running through the water. The giggles and belly laughs erupting from this kid made me snort iced coffee through my nose I was laughing so hard. He sat down at one point, and water just started streaming all over his bum. He gets up and runs back to his mom, giggling and laughing all the way.

The best part? His diaper was riding real low on him so he was running back to his mom sporting some serious plummers crack...

It was too damn cute...can't wait 'till I have kids...

Last year, my husband and I were trying to get out of the MK parade. We finally made it up to the train station. There was a really huge man sitting on one of the benches there. When he stood up and turned to get something out of his bag we noticed everything was crammed up his crack - I mean everything - shorts, t shirt, jacket - it was really crammed up there, and a large portion . We were not the only ones that noticed, either we heard lots of laughs besides ours. It was quite a site. We still laugh about that and cannot understand how someone could not feel a load of laundry up his butt!:p

One of my first memories of Disney was when I was real young and the whole family took our first trip to WDW. We went to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and my little brother got to laughing so hard he fell right off his chair. It was so funny and of course we were all laughing including my little bro. I still crack up thinking about it!

There have probably been tons of moments, but I remember this one as the funniest.

September 2000 we went down with family and extended family.

My cousin brought 2 way radios so we could all keep in touch. We were waiting for family behind Cinderella's castle, but there was a couple chatting away on the same channel, and we were afraid we weren't going to be able to hear our other family members when they tried to call. My cousin picked up the radio and in a very professional voice stated:

"May I have your attention please, this channel is reserved for Disney Security only...if you are using this channel, please switch channels.."

We waited a moment and then heard a woman's voice say "Honey, we have to switch channels, this is Disney's security channel"

I almost split my sides laughing!!!!:p

Back in September of 1992, we were on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride when it stopped. It had been a really lousy day with all sorts of little things going wrong and our first thought was "oh no, what now!" After sitting in the car for about 10-15 minutes, a management type person came through with a maintenance worker... now for those of you who don't remember Mr. Toad or did not get the chance to ride it, the rooms were very dark with blacklight effects similar to the Buzz Lightyear ride. There were all these metal character flats hanging from the ceiling that were illuminated in the black light... well, the maintenance guy walked right into one of the hanging characters and you heard this very loud "CLANG" followed by a very mild, whispered "sh*t!"... I don't know when I've laughed so hard! We all just fell out! Sure improved our day though!

Well, it actually happened to me and my dear family thought it was the funniest thing they very saw.

We went for my birthday Dec. 2001, and I had on one of those cute "Its my BirthDay" pins that I had received at Guest relations. We were at the HM, which is a favorite of ours. And you know how the CMs are all in costume and they really play up the part. Well, we were ushered into the round room to the "Dead center of the room" because they needed "more bodies".... Some how this guy sees my pin and get right behind me. He then intones in this morbid voice "Happy Birthday Madame, too bad it will be you last" then he starts this really evil, heinous laughing. OK, I got goose bumps, my youngest son edges alittle closer! It was great really creepy! I loved it! SO we ride the ride and every CM makes a Birthday comment to me. As we exit and leave HM I notice a few people keep watching us. We they began to point and stare and got alittle nervous. I stopped walking and I then realized one of the creepier looking CMs had followed me out. He was right behind me, I mean right behind me. His chin was almost touching my left shoulder. Every step I took he took too. If I stopped, he stopped. When I would look at him he would stare straight ahead. This went on untill we reached the Hall of Presidents. I told him thank you for making my birthday so special but he REALLY could stop now. He followed me for another 50 feet or so, then stopped and just stood there staring at me, he did not move until I rounded a corner. I sent my DS to see if he left. My DS was in hysterics! It really was fun, but as I said it did creep me out alittle. Best Birthday I EVER had!
