The Fockers Made Me Do it…A TR written by Peer Pressure - Updated 9/26/08 Thank You!!

:rotfl: Some 4-year-olds ate the whole thing???

Boy...I'd be glad I wasn't their momma back in a tight little hotel room!!!

We decided to take the kids to Disney Quest. Before you ask, no I have no idea what possessed us to do this.

:rotfl2: Didn't TE have fun there, though?

We waited for about 15 minutes and it never came, so we started walking around to meet mom and dad and about ½ way around the boat came.

You're not having good luck this day, are you?

Just as a note, no Andrew didn’t finish it and he got beat out by two 4 year olds who ate the whole thing.:rotfl2:

Mine would be too picky, but they could probably do it together. ;)

http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z104/Becca1904/Smileys/Rain/thPouringrainSmilie.gif[/IMG]. The old man was snoring so much you’d have thought he had sleep apnea.
OMGosh! That made me laugh out loud!!! :lmao:

We may have to split a kitchen sink as a family of 5 one day. I don't know if we could get through it, though. Maybe it could be dinner! :confused3 :rotfl2:

Ok. This is the first I have ever seen or heard of the Kitchen sink. The Jiggler is jumping up and down with joy. It thinks it wants a new treat. :sad2:

Great chapter!!

We but our tickets ($164 for the 4 of us:sad2: )
:scared1:

Note to self: NEVER tell Leo there is a Disney Quest.

Jimmy says to me that this boardwalk is no fun because it doesn’t have rides.
:rotfl2: Leo wasn't impressed either.

We got the basic burgers and dogs, but it satisfied everyone’s empty bellies, except Andrew who wasn’t eating so he could have the kitchen sink:sick: .
OMG, he tackled that thing on an empty stomach?! :crazy2:

We went to get the strollers and yes it was raining, no it was pouring. The old man was snoring so much you’d have thought he had sleep apnea.
:lmao:

I don’t know if it is always like this when it rains,
::yes:: and here's why:
because there was so much rain at one time the drainage system couldn’t handle it

Just as a note, no Andrew didn’t finish it and he got beat out by two 4 year olds who ate the whole thing.:rotfl2:
:rotfl: Oh no, poor Andrew!

Yea I def say DQ is an ok place to visit when u are adding the +More option (as it pays for itself in one use) but OOP NO WAY. KC plays games while I sit and use the carpy PCs.

Great update, I was giggling most of the way through!

This picture is a riot! Jimmy looks so skeptical.
I thought by moving this breakfast to Tusker House, a bigger facility, that it would be less frantic. I was wrong. I think it was just as noisy, if not more so
We ate here for one of the grand gatherings and it was SUPER loud. I think it's the high ceilings or something.

After breakfast Jimmy was saying he was cold.
I was cold until Sunday morning.

After ITTBAB I needed a cigarette or I may have been in jail for homicide at that point because Andrew was still pouting and it was *(& me off. We stopped at a DSA and I just smoked. Jim took Andrew off to the side and said something to him, I have no idea what, but the pouting stopped.
Like I said, mad props.

It was now time for the parade, which is Jimmy’s favorite of all the parades, and it was still NOT raining.
It's an awesome parade. :thumbsup2

We get there and there is Jimmy’s surprise…His friend’s Matt and Rose. We knew each other was going to be there, but we didn’t tell the kids…it was great.

Side Note: Denise and I asked that our rooms be near each other, they didn’t need to be connecting but near each other. We were in building 9 and they were in building 2. Couldn’t have gotten any further apart if we tried.
I was wondering what happened with them coming...I bet they were thrilled to see each other. And, really, they couldn't manage closer than buildings 2 and 9?!?!?

Janet, I'm impressed! You really are doing an update a day, aren't you? Thanks for helping keep me busy!

I don't think my girls will ever want to go to DQ, so I shouldn't ever have to put my foot down about that. Now, DH is another story...:sad2:

That kitchen sink looks good, but I think I'm in agreement with Dawn - split it among the entire family!:thumbsup2

Can't wait to hear your version of FockerFest!!!

The plan for the day was to sleep in, swim, and then hit Beaches and Cream for a late lunch/early dinner before hitting EPCOT for a couple of hours. Jimmy and Fay had other plans. Jimmy woke up at 7:30. Faye dumped more rain.
Don't you just love that?

We grab a map and figure out a game plan. I felt like one of them. We went into the kids game room and Jim and Jimmy started playing some games. I took Andrew to the Cyber Space Mountain where we waited a total of 30 minutes (I don’t even do this for the real space mountain). It was cool, we got to build our own rollercoaster and then ride it virtually. No need to do it again. All the other virtual rides that Andrew was interested in had over hour waits. I guess this is a place you don’t go to when it is raining. After virtual space mountain and wandering around having no clue what we were doing we found Jim and Jimmy and I found the computers with the internet access. I logged on to TFW and said hi to everyone, but that is all I did because they were carppy keyboards and hard to use. We let Jimmy and Andrew play a couple of more video games before we headed out. We were there a total of 2 – 2 ½ hours. What a waste of money that I will never see again.
What a bummer. I've never ventured in there.

We go to the YC and realize we are supposed to be in the BC to go to Beaches and Cream. I call mom & dad and they are already there. We had no clue where to go, so I asked an older CM dressed like Thurston Howell III where to go and this is where the Disney difference comes into play. Instead of just telling us where to go (I’ve been told where to go many times:cool2: ) he walked us through the YC and over to the BC and directly to Beaches and Cream where mom & dad were waiting. I go to see about checking in and we are told it will be about 1 hour wait. Um, nope not happening, so I told Andrew we would come back after Illuminations so he could get his Kitchen Sink.
Thank goodness for Thurston Howell, III :woohoo: :woohoo:

This might be a stupid question, but is Beaches and Cream strictly ice cream, or do they do sandwiches, too? I can't imagine an hour wait for ice cream.:headache: And I love ice cream.

We made it as far as the cover by character connection and we were soaked. I called Jim and told him where to meet us and then Denise called and I walked her through how to get where we were. While we are waiting for everyone to regroup Jimmy turns to me and says “Mommy, I just want to go back to the room and take a bath”. This tells you how bad the rain was.
Oh yeah. It was a nasty, NASTY day. We were in DHS, and we were gone by about 3 because the novelty of WDW in the pouring rain was quickly wearing off.

I just got a request from the eldest son to take him there next month for his birthday.

We but our tickets ($164 for the 4 of us:sad2: ) and wait in this gigando line to get in.
How much :faint:

All the other virtual rides that Andrew was interested in had over hour waits.
No way that's ridiculous!

Instead of just telling us where to go (I’ve been told where to go many times:cool2: ) he walked us through the YC and over to the BC and directly to Beaches and Cream where mom & dad were waiting.
Now that is service :thumbsup2

The kids were excited because it was the first ride we all rode together.:goodvibes
So sweet :goodvibes

The old man was snoring so much you’d have thought he had sleep apnea.
Oh Janet :rotfl:

but we walked through water up over my ankles, in sneakers
Last year and this year I took my shoes off and just paddled through the puddles :sad2:

Just as a note, no Andrew didn’t finish it and he got beat out by two 4 year olds who ate the whole thing.:rotfl2:
I can't believe he even attempted it :rotfl2:

oh my!! that rain sounds horrid!!! :scared:

i can't believe 2 four yr olds could eat that much ice cream !!

OH and BTW I never got an email with links to your pics...just sayin'.

I didn't send a link I just sent them as an attachment. I will resend.!

Even though it was pouring in the morning and then again in the evening at least we had those fwe hours of sunshine in the afternoon. :goodvibes It was a nice break from the constant rain, rain, rain.

::yes:: At least we could dry out a little bit!

That's nice to you found a CM to show you the way to Beaches and Cream, too bad the wait was so long. I have heard crazy things about the dinner time waits there.

Even at 9:00pm they still had to wait 30 minutes to sit at the counter:eek:

OMG, I can't believe you were out in that rain on Friday! It was freakin' pouring. Like a Tropical Storm or something. Heh heh heh.

I've seen pictures of the Kitchen Sink and there's no way I would even attempt to finish that thing! Kuddos to Andrew for even trying! :worship:

JIm said he ate almost all of it:confused3

Dude, having a parent who is a CM rules! I think I'll send Waldo to Florida soon.

Well, it's not Bangladesh;)

:rotfl: Some 4-year-olds ate the whole thing???

Boy...I'd be glad I wasn't their momma back in a tight little hotel room!!!

Me either:eek:

Ok. This is the first I have ever seen or heard of the Kitchen sink. The Jiggler is jumping up and down with joy. It thinks it wants a new treat. :sad2:

Great chapter!!

Definitely plan it as a family treat and at an off time.

Note to self: NEVER tell Leo there is a Disney Quest.

So not worth the money, IMO!

OMG, he tackled that thing on an empty stomach?! :crazy2:

Yep, disgusting isn't it!:sad2:

Yea I def say DQ is an ok place to visit when u are adding the +More option (as it pays for itself in one use) but OOP NO WAY. KC plays games while I sit and use the carpy PCs.

Great update, I was giggling most of the way through!

Thanks Kat. Yeah, if I didn't have the kids with me I would have spent a bit more time on the bad computers too!

Thanks for the report I have enjoyed reading it so far.

Welcome and thanks for reading:goodvibes

Can't wait to hear your version of FockerFest!!!

COming soon!:thumbsup2

This might be a stupid question, but is Beaches and Cream strictly ice cream, or do they do sandwiches, too? I can't imagine an hour wait for ice cream.:headache: And I love ice cream.

They have burgers and dogs, etc. THe burgers are supposed to be the best on property!

I just got a request from the eldest son to take him there next month for his birthday.

:lmao:

How much :faint:

No way that's ridiculous!

THe price and the waits ::yes::

oh my!! that rain sounds horrid!!! :scared:

i can't believe 2 four yr olds could eat that much ice cream !!

JUst the thoughts of that much ice cream makes me:sick:

We Loved Disney Quest when we went in May 2006 ( uh but it was free as part of the Free waterpark and More) Would not pay for DQ either.
The water parks are great but too overpriced for my blood.

Andrew Almost looked a little GREEN with the "Kitchen Sink" and I am not sure he had taken a bite yet:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .

Maybe next time we can make it to B&C and get that.

Note: The Sun was shining. Maybe Faye FINALLY went away!!!

We woke up to Stitch at 6:00am (I think I am the only one who LOVES Stitch waking me up). We all get ready and we are out the door to meet Denise, Matt and Rose at the bus stop. We are on the EPCOT bus with no wait and at EPCOT in no time. First we stop for the requisite pictures while we are waiting for mom.

DaddyMommyJimmy.jpg

AndrewDaddyMommyJimmy.jpg

Mom arrives and we go all the way over to the CM turnstile (all the way on the left here) and we are first in line.

Jimmy.jpg

We go in, mom gets Denise a stroller. I take the right path to go directly to Soarin’ to get fastpasses. Everyone else goes to the left to go to Test Track to wait for me. After the opening ceremony The crowd breaks loose and the mad rush for Soarin is on. Luckily I am alone so I able to zig and zag around the strollers without anyone trying to keep up with me. I grabbed the FP’s and make my way back to TT. When I get there Jim tells me about this strange woman who runs up to him and starts talking to him (he thought she was an axe murderer:lmao: ). Who was this woman that tried to accost my DH?

CE.jpg

It was our dear Focker friend CE and Jim didn’t think she was axe murderer. He and my mother both said she was VERY nice. She introduced herself and then she was off to ride TT with her family. I never got to see her. I only got the picture because Andrew had the camera and thought to snap one. D apparently was with me getting Soarin FP’s but I never saw him either.:sad2:

After I rejoin the group mom and Denise go to find a place to sit while the rest of us ride TT. There was only a 10 minute wait, and I think that was just walking the que and watching the pre-show. The kids loved this ride. I don’t have my photopass CD yet, so I can’t post the picture.
From TT we went to Figment. Hate the skunk thing, but it is still a cute ride.

After Figment it was time for Denise and the kids to head over to Akerhaus for their Princess Breakfast and the rest of us headed for Soarin’. We take the 10 mile trek down the line and are in row three. Not great, but we all still enjoyed it. By this time we were ready for a little something to eat. We stopped in Sunshine Seasons and got some bagels, croissants, and drinks. It was nice to be in there and not have a 1000 people hovering waiting for a table. It was so empty we were able to just relax for a few minutes.

JimmyDaddy2.jpg

Notice Jimmy has on a different shirt. He spilled his chocolate milk all over his white shirt that he had on:sad2:

Denise called to let us know they were done with breakfast and were heading back to meet us. We finished up and met her outside the land. Mom took off at this point (she was running to Wally World to get Jim some new shoes becasue his fell apart in all the rain:sad2: and she wanted to rest before Weinerfest!
)
We meet up with Denise and the kids and head over to Nemo and Friends.

PIC_0022-1.jpg

Andrew and Jim went to ride Mission Space again.
AndrewMissionSpace.jpg

After the required picture with the Gulls we find Nemo. The kids weren’t too interested in looking at the fish which was good because Turtle Talk with Crush was just loading! The kids got a spot on the floor and Denise and I got the second bench back Great show as usual, the kids were amazed.
By this time it was a little after 12:00 and we wanted to go back to POP to take a break before Weinerfest. Denise wanted to take the kids swimming, because yes the sun was still shining. We head to the Pop bus stop and there is a bus waiting for us, with nobody on it!

We head back to the room to just chill out. Andrew read his Harry Potter book, which was on his summer reading list. Jimmy played Power Rangers and watched Stacy. Jim and I ran to the food court and order a pizza for lunch. We hung out and just chilled. It was a relaxing afternoon.

Next Up…Weinerfest! Are the rains gone for good?

Am I first???? :woohoo:

So, did Jimmy get to ask Crush anything? We've never done that one and I can't wait to hear my girls ask him something. We may end up doing it with Buzz and Linnie and I'm sure LeeAndra will want to say something! :rotfl2:

I can't wait to ride TT and Soarin'! DH and DD7 also love Mission Space last year. I don't think DD4 will be tall enough though, so we may have to hit Nemo instead.

Jimmy is not one for volunteering.

I am sure LA will have a question ::yes:: :rotfl2:

Yeah!!! I am second!

Mmmm... I can smell the oranges now when I read about Soarin' :cloud9: That was C's favorite ride. :cutie:
We also ate some breakfast at the Sunshine Seasons. Gotta love those snack credits! ;)

Note: The Sun was shining. Maybe Faye FINALLY went away!!!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We woke up to Stitch at 6:00am (I think I am the only one who LOVES Stitch waking me up).
I think you're right.

Cute! :goodvibes I never did a get a family pic infront of the golf ball! :headache:

When I get there Jim tells me about this strange woman who runs up to him and starts talking to him (he thought she was an axe murderer:lmao: ). Who was this woman that tried to accost my DH?
Ok, I'm laughing cause I thought for sure it was JO! Hello? You were at TT, right? :lmao:

Hi CE! :wave2:

Notice Jimmy has on a different shirt. He spilled his chocolate milk all over his white shirt that he had on:sad2:
Ah, and what a smart mom you are to pack an extra one! ;)

You are racking up "stalking's" or are they stalking you ??Hmmmm :scratchin .
But you had a "Chance Meet" AND GOT A PICTURE

I always hold my breath so I do not get the skunk :lmao: :crazy2:

Joshua got picked to talk to "Crush" in 2005 and with his disability... we did not know WHAT HE WOULD SAY... Crush came out with the "Bikini Top" on and ask what this was... :scared: Joshua laughed and said "No No Crush.. that's for a Girl" So Crush asked what it was again:scared: :scared:
JOshua said... It's a Swim top to cover her "Boo Boo's" :scared1: "

Crush just kind of stops right here.. with this dazed look on his face and says... "So I should Not wear this... Got it "

Sara was embarrased... I had hoped she would chime in and help Joshua out... NOPE.. she let him Sink all on his own. She was 7 he was 11.
