Ok, odd title maybe but here's what's been going through my mind....There has been more than one comment here in the last several months from folks just back, who had horrible loud foul neighbors (involving drugs/alcohol most of the time). I expect this (sadly...) when I camp here in New England, but not at Disney. Am I naive??!
Or is it simply a matter of 99.9% of the campers at FW are still great people, and it's really just the .1% that you actually hear about, since they caused such a commotion?
Is there an increase in "partying" at FW? Or is Disney simply choosing not to do anything with the few incidents? I'm not going to let this jade my outlook or ruin my excitement for our trip in the fall (we're not going over any kind of school break....maybe there's hope!?), but we're a family looking for a family experience and I'm getting increasingly worried. Camping here in the summer is a weekend deal; our trip to the Fort is for 7 nights!! It never really occured to me that we might have this type of problem until reading some of the trip reports. I'm not against anyone having a good time and getting away from it all, but there's definitely a line that is crossed.
Any input?
