oooh, waiting to get on the bus to Pop after a park closes can be brutal. You usually don't have to wait long for the buses, but there are a lot of tired, unhappy people in that line!

Yes those lines are long and most people are tired and cranky and want to get back. FAST. We felt guilty being able to cut ahead even though the ecv was an absolute necessity for grandma.

When your little one is older you should def give AI a try! At her age I'm sure she'd be bored unless you stopped in while she was napping?

The party started off kind of disappointing and I was regretting spending the money but by the end I felt the memories we made were PRICELESS

I agree that Caitlin looks adorable in the hat! I couldn't tell you how many times she was stopped and complimented on the hat. Everybody just loved it

We knew going in March the weather might be chilly. We were shocked though that it was downright COLD!

Caitlin did do a good job with the night pics. I was so focused on beating the crowds out that I didn't think to take any

I just can't possibly imagine ever being cold in WDW. We always go when it's SCORCHING hot and it feels like you're just going to melt into a puddle on the pavement. Having to wear jeans and jackets would be such a weird experience. But I kind of want to, just so I can say I did it.

The whole time we were cold I kept thinking that when we go in August it's going to be crazy hot and we'll be wishing for colder temps

If you want to go when it's cold try Feb or March. Trips we've taken at those times were colder than when we went in Dec

I like Star Tours alot! I didn't know PeeWee Herman was the voice! The things you find out daily. LOL!

Though, I do like Star Tours, I am excited for it's refurb. It's time for it to be updated. I will not be able to ride when I'm there in Oct (assuming, I'm still going ) since it will since be under refurb, it'll be exciting for the next time.

and, by God, it was indeed getting FREEZING. I really regretted not bringing some gloves with me. If my fingers are cold, the rest of me follows.

We have been watching Idol this season but prior to that hadn't watched since the first season. So I don't think you have to watch the tv show to enjoy this version. If you enjoy music I think it's worth checking out. It doesn't take up that much time and it's a good place to warm up or cool off depending on the weather

We all woke up bright and early excited for our Magic Kingdom day! MK is mine and grandma's favorite park so we were eager to start our day there PLUS this was to be our D23 party day

We had an 8:25 adr at Ohana and we were going to kick off our day by having breakfasts with some bffs! By 7:30 we were all ready and starting out the door when grandma commented that her ecv wasn't working right. It was slow....very,very slow. I suggested she call the rental company right away but she said she'd "wait and see what happens." So we headed to the Pop bus stop with grandma lagging quite a distance behind. When we got to the bus stop a bus was already there so we boarded the MK bus and began our trek to the Polynesian. I should probably add that normally I would just take a cab from our resort to whichever resort we are having breakfast at BUT with the ecv a cab wasn't an option so we took the Pop bus to the MK and then took the monorail from the MK to the Poly.

We arrived at Ohana's checkin desk at 8:05

(those darn Pop buses were so prompt they got us everywhere early ) and discovered they did not have our adr

Since I had our confirmation number it wasn't a problem and we were seated at 8:15 for our at 8:25 adr. Not too bad huh?

We were able to score a great table at the window and we could see the castle off in the distance (way in the distance) in one direction

and the volcano and Grand Floridian in the other.

When our server took our beverage order Caitlin asked if she could get the Kona pressed pot of coffee. The server said "of course" so she was really excited. Caitlin is a Starbucks girl and is not a fan of the "typical" WDW coffee. Grandma ordered the basic coffee and I ordered my beverage of choice good old Coke! (hey I need caffeine in the morning and don't like hot drinks so coke it is )

As we were waiting for our drinks and food we saw Lilo come out and head our way. And then she walked right past us? Snubbed by the hostess of the party? (no worries tho she came back later )

Then the food began arriving. First our drinks and the warm bread basket.

Caitlin loved the Kona coffee. In fact she loved it so much she drank the whole pot! Yep she was pretty wired after breakfast

Next up was the fresh fruit platter which was delicious! I think we polished the whole thing off!

(in fact you can see by the picture we started eating and then remembered we needed a pic)

Finally, the main course arrived. I loved that this meal was served family style and didn't require getting up and walking back and forth to a buffet! As you can see it included eggs,sausage, potatos and Mickey waffles. We all tried everything and it was all GOOD! We all gave this breakfast the thumbs up and would highly recommend it!

As we ate, the characters came around. First up was everybody's favorite alien...

Then Lilo came by and stopped this time!

Our last visitor was Mickey himself! (his bff was awol?) Caitlin and I got our pic together with the Big Cheese

After our pic with Mickey he walked over to say "hi" to grandma and then IT HAPPENED. The next thing we hear is grandma asking Mickey if he'd "be my cabana boy". Caitlin turned to me and said, "did grandma just hit on Mickey?!"

When we finished eating I suggested to grandma,for the second time , that she call the ecv rental company and ask about why it was moving so slow. This time she did call but when she got off the phone she said "they told me if it breaks down just to call them and they'll come out" My reaction was pretty much "WHAT?!"

So we paid our bill and ventured off,very slowly thanks to the ecv, to the MK.

You will have to wait for our next post to find out what happens with the ecv....

But I'm thinking with all that pressed Kona coffee that Caitlin drank she might be able to just push that ECV where ever it needs to go. Either that or Caitlin is already going be at Space mtn while grandma's ecv is just passing the main street bakery!

I'm with Caitlin, I always order the pressed pot coffee and Boma too!!! I love my coffee and what they serve in Disney can hardly even be called coffee....I would pay $20 for a pot, I love it!!!!

Breakfast looked delicious....we have never done breakfast at O'Hana's only dinner, but it will be on our list for next time

'Ohana for breakfast is definitely one of our "must-do's."
In fact, we never tried any of their other meals until out last trip.
Who knew they make a great dinner as well!?!?!

Up until recently this was the only place to see Lilo and we love that movie!
And where else do you get to wear your Disney Hawaiian shirts and fit right in!!
Our best pictures are always from this breakfast either at the 'Ohana sign or with Mickey himself.
And don't get me started on the "Aloha Juice."
That stuff is the nectar of the gods.

As for the rest, I'm placing bets on the impending ECV disaster to be on the middle of Main Street USA.
