Our tradition has been to check in (of course.) After that, we always go to Disney Studios via Disney bus. We make a bee-line to Star Tours and that's our first ride.
When we first went to the World, our DSs' never been to a theme park that had rides for adults as well as kids. We were scared that they would be terrified of riding rides. They are HUGE Star Wars fans, so we decided to go there first to see if they would actually like riding rides.
Well, when the ride started, they were screaming and yelling and just had the biggest smiles and laughter EVER! That memory will be embedded in my memory FOREVER! And that made me realize that they just LOVE riding rides and that the entire vacation would be a success.
Now, it's just tradition for us to ride that ride first. The smiles are not as big as the first, and they ridicule the robot in the front, but there ARE smiles, because Star Tours is the ride that welcomes our family to Disney World.
