The first park you go to

Which part of Disney World do you go to first on your vacation??

Depends I suppose...if DS had the choice, all things being equal, he woul dchoose MK. Me, Epcot. But we generally look at crowds, EMH, Guidebooks, etc and pick the park where the lowest crowds are anticipated.

we do the exact same thing. whichever park is easiest to get to.

Depends on the day of the week and time of day we arrive. If we don't have APs, we probably go to DTD the first afternoon/evening.

First time the first park we hit was MGM as it was an early morning.

The second trip we hit magic kingdom late afternoon and had dinner at liberty Tavern.

I like to start and end our trip at the MK. MK gives my the biggest "Disney feeling"

We always hit Epcot first but now that we have kids I am sure that will change to MK.

The past three visits to the World we have started with Animal Kingdom. We do this because it closes early and we are usually tired after the looooong drive from Massachusetts. We are too excited to sleep in on our first morning and we usually run out of steam by 5:00. We eat an early dinner and get a good nights sleep for Magic Kingdom the next day.

We arrive around at the resort at two and are at the Beach Club. It a short walk to EPCOT.

We started our DAK tradition several trips ago and it just stuck... don't know why.

But the first full day of vaca is always DAK. The arrival day (if not late at night) is always DTD and then ADR somewhere for dinner...but the first park the next day (full day) is DAK.

Although I voted for MK, personally I go to whatever park I feel like at the time. Last week it was DAK first and then hopped over to MK.

If we are bringing guests with us, it's always MK first. It just IS the Disney feeling.

Our park for our first full day is always the magic kingdom. We often go to a park on the day we arrive for half a day but it is not always the same park.

We go to the park that Tour Guide Mike recommends. We follow his advice for our day to day park touring.

If I'm traveling with a newbie, it is usually MK first...everyone wants to go see the castle!!

Otherwise, it is usually Epcot first.

We always arrive mid-afternoon, so after check-in, we usually just head over to DTD so I can get some shopping done (mostly pins and WOD merchandise), eat dinner and just enjoy our first night in the World! Next day, it's off to my favorite park - the Magic Kingdom!
