The Fabby LapuLapuettes Part IV: My Pineapple Needs a Refill!

I just have to share the two great things I got in the mail today.

First I order new bank checks from Wal-Mart online (who knew wal-mart sold checks and really cheap too!) I got the Pixar ones this time, Mike & Sully; The Incredibles; Dory and Nemo and Woody and Buzz......TOO CUTE!!!!

The second thing was my brouchure-book from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. OMG......They have 2 new mega ships coming and they will be incredible! Hello 40th Birthday Cruise for me! It's not until 2013 but I was just lusting over the ship. But I think we may need to take a smaller cruise in 2011 for our 5th wedding anniversary. Then that got me to wondering at what age do kids have to start paying for tickets for WDW? Is it up 'til they turn 3 or is until they actually turn 4???? Please tell me if you know.

So today was much better then yesterday which sucked. I took Liam to Tumbly Bugs gymnastics class and it didn't go so well. All he wanted to do was look at everything but what the other kids were doing. I don't think we will continue. This was to be for his speech and social interactions as much as it was for the physical motor skills. Well there were only 2 other kids....a little girl who is almost 3 y/o and probably will move up to the next level and an 18 month old boy who did the class last session but he doesn't really talk (has words until Liam) but Liam is going to get much from him.
So that all put me into depression and Liam was a crank the whole rest of the day. Oh being pregnant with an almost 2 year old is lovely!

At least today was better....but we won't talk about how much sleep I got last night because I got up 3 times with Liam :sad2:

Hey, gang! I'm almost all packed (except for things that can't go in till the last minute) and I'm finishing up a few last things. Only a couple more days... ACK!

I was just thinking of you this afternoon while I was doing all the normal afterschool chores. I can't believe that you are leaving in just mere days!

Really? Let me know when you get them -- I need new checks soon.

Nothing like planning the next trip to cheer you up! Glad today was a much better day for you. Check your allears newsletter when you get a chance. ;)

So exciting! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Once DS turned 3, we had to pay for him. They're free until they turn 3, so last year was the first year we had to pay. That'll slap you in the face the first time. :lmao:

(And the cruise sounds awesome, btw.)

What a bummer about that class. I totally know how you feel. As you all know, my DS started preschool this year. Well, there were only four kids in his class. As we're nearing the start of the next semester, the other little boy has gone to the three day a week class, one of the little girls has been out sick, and the other little girl is going to full time day care.

So guess who's in his class by himself?

Yup. DS.

So, what they've done is started mixing him in with the four year old class, and he's done very well. They'll continue that for the rest of the year unless they get any more kids. Can you believe that?

Morning, Lapuettes.

We're off to a bit of a rocky start today. I didn't hear DS this morning, and he came running out of his room and scared the bejeezus out of me. So I said, Oh my goodnes, DS! And that scared him. And then he cried.

And that's how I started my day. :lmao:

Then asked DH to help get him dressed, etc, because DS had leaked out of his overnight. Well, DH is (god bless him) fairly useless in the morning, so guess who ended up doing all that?

I don't mean to disparage my husband. Okay, maybe I do. He's fantastic otherwise, just not at 600am. Not a morning person. And not as soothing as Mama, apparently.

Here's hoping our moods improve! :thumbsup2

I too am dealing with some numbers...more like can I afford to go a few days early and how much will a rental car cost for 9 days...I'm hoping as the time gets closer better deals will arrive on the rental car!!

I'm a little nervous now about checking in on a Sunday...was it that bad Heidi????? I'm thinking of going a Sunday through a Sunday but now I'm thinking of maybe arriving on Saturday morning instead and staying throughout the week and leaving Sunday afternoon. Once again I would only need to get a room for 3 days and with a good AP rate that wouldn't be that much of an expense. Okay well now I'm just rambling on and on about the possibilities I really should save that for my PTR...my apologies...I'm going to follow the other Jen's lead and I'm going to go run numbers LOL!!

Don't forget to check the Transportation thread on here too because people will often post great discount codes for rental cars. We got one SERIOUSLY cheap one time through the threads!!

OH we all so want to pack up and go with you!!! Have a GREAT TIME!!!!

Oh WOW!!! I'm glad mixing him in is working, but can't believe he is in a class by himself right now!!!

Here's a hug  to make the rest of the day go better!!! We have all had those mornings---so hopefully it will be a much better afternoon for you!

Hi Lapuettes!

I'm not DISing too much these days but I did want to pop in and say howdy. And to everyone who encouraged me to go to my Dad's surprise party, a big thank you!

It was a great weekend overall and the party was a success - he had no clue! He could not get over the fact that his wife had orchestrated all of this, and that all of the "kids" visiting the same weekend was no coincidence!

So, I thought I'd post a few pics from my weekend in Florida.....those of you here in New England and dealing with snow, think warm thoughts!

In downtown St. Petersburg:

These guys were EVERY where out on the Pier at St. Pete!

This is a replica of the HMS "Bounty" and is the ship used in the 1960's movie "Mutiny on the Bounty." I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone figures out all that rigging!!

A view of the Gulf....

And finally, this one is for you LL!....we went to dinner at this place where there is this massive Wurlitzer organ and a guy comes out and plays every half hour or so. I was looking around and noticed these on the ceiling and thought, "Hmm, interesting light fixture. LL would like that!":rotfl:

:rotfl: I am so touched that you took a light fixture picture for me. :goodvibes

I am so glad that your trip was a success!

Lapuettes did you hear about the Pirate Cruise on the Wonder? I read about it in my Disney Insider newsletter. It sounds so cool. I wish I could afford to go. If I were rich I would pay for all the Lapuettes to go. It would be the perfect thing to do together. If any of you want the article pm me your email and I will send it to you.

CP: I have the new checks.....nothing wrong with them. Wal-mart checking has other Disney designs as well.

Did you all get your Allears newsletter this week? These a tip in there from little old me.....

And TK the newsletter also says that DTD Rainforest Cafe can accept mid-week ressies now.

he is in a class by himself right now!!!

You know, I've always felt DS was in a class by himself. ;)

Sorry, that was just too good to pass up. Yes, he's doing very well, thank goodness! And today, I was prepared for him to be up that early, so no tears or gasps of shock. :lmao:

Hi, hon. You may all see a slow down from me as well. I've been spending a bit too much time on the boards, but I do plan to check in periodically.

I'm glad you enjoyed your dad's party. That's so good to hear. :goodvibes

Um, seriously?

I love a good boat...er ship. ;)

You're so sweet! I just got that article but have only skimmed it.

Let's plan to win the lottery and then we can all go! :lmao:
