Ok the rest of you silly people have me pricing out a solo trip..... My but the power of suggestion is strong. There's no way I can do it this year unless we move to FL prior, but it's sure fun to dream. And besides, now I have a firm figure in my head that I know I need to see in my savings account.

The only reason I ask is because I have a (talk about a reason to be committed) huge spreadsheet comparing room discounts to free dining. Now granted, it's based on three people, not five, but the same basic principles may hold true.

Thought of you when I tore away my last "Stuff on My Cat" page-a-day.
I have the "Bad Cat" calendar for 2009.

I am so glad I am done with that calendar. I was really sick of it come December. I have two page-a-day's now. The one at work is Disney Animation and the one at home is Disney trivia. Yes, the obsession runs deep.

That's 4 nights at Pop Century and a 4-day Park Hopper, with the Free Dining (cuz you know they'll do it again!... ).

If I could sell $200 worth of stuff on eBay in stealth mode, I'd have the deposit and secretly book it.

I also think that if I were to go solo, I'd opt for the new Quick-service Dining Plan (assuming they also offer that in the Free version). I have no problem eating alone at a counter-service place, but there's something about being solo at a sit-down place that seems a little odd. Dunno, maybe it's just me. Plus it included the refillable mug for those early morning coffee walks of mine!!

So, there it is. The new dream....

No ADR availability at 'Ohana that day until 9:45 pm.

It's tough. You never really know until you try a place. Case in point. CP loves her some Boma. As a matter of fact, I think her whole family loves Boma.

We had a bad meal there. So you just never know. I think if you like something after you check out the menu, try it. In all likelihood, you're going to have one bad meal on your trip. Inevitably, it happens. Whether it's the food, the service you never know.

So carpe diem! Eat where you want!

Now if I could only follow my own advice, maybe I'd be able to post a chapter about in my pre trip report.

However, I doubt myself.

Are those dates good for bounceback only??.....that's later than I ever remember it going (except for this year when they basically extended FD right up to the holidays).

Oh how I would looooove to be at F&W Festival... Solo no less!!

I'm not sure if they do extend a free dining promo to the general public if the dates will run as long. It seems in the past, the bounceback has been longer than the public dates. So I guess we'll have to wait until April to see. But dang, I would love to spend some time with you in the World. At Food and Wine Festival. NOM.
