The Fab Four Hit WDW! Updated: This Time Next Week Posts!

So...we only have one day planned for HS. I know, I know. I tried to squeeze in another 1/2 day, but we would rather spend it at Epcot or AK. We are only spending a day at DHS too :)

Our MUST Do List:

Toy Story Midway Mania -- We are so excited about this ride, we MUST ride it. For sure!!!!!!!

Muppet Vision 3-D We like this, but it's a if we have time because of other things we have never seen

Playhouse Disney Live -- A. loves all things Playhouse Disney and loved the show the last time we saw it. Even though Maddie doesn't watch as much Playhouse Disney anymore, we haven't seen it since the refurb, so we will go to this

Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set -- We didn't do this last time because it was super hot that day, I'm really want to do it this time. I don't think we'll be hitting this one, so I'll be interested to see how you like it.

Meet Woody and Jessie - A. loves them both and I read that they are in the area by the ride, so hopefully we can find them. We love all things Toy Story - we'll be spending plenty of time in Pixar Place too :thumbsup2

On this day they have EMH so we want to come and "dance" with the characters in the Playhouse Disney area. It may just be A. and I. We'll have to see how our day goes. The only EMH night on our trip is the day we arrive, so we won't be able try this out - it sounds fun though.

And..that's it for the must do list. It's short. That is why we only have 1 day planned.

Things we would like to do:

Indiana Jones & Lights, Motors, Action! -- Rob wants to do both of these. I told him I would watch the kids while he did ONE of them. So I'll leave it up to him to decide.

Tower of Terror- I LOVE this ride! I'm hoping to get a fast pass and then do a parent swap. If we can't do it, then we can't do it. I'll get over it. Maybe. ;)

Beauty and the Beast

The Great Movie Ride - I haven't done this since I was a cast member! Rob isn't interested, so I guess it will be his turn to watch the kids.

Our ADR for this day is SciFi and I'm still not 100% on it. I'm worried that it is going to be to quiet in there for my Motor Mouth child.

What do you think? Suggestions?

I'd like to get in TOT, Rockin' Rollercoaster and thing I'll be happy. Your day looks great!

Thank you!

Yeah, Rockin' Rollercoaster is fun but I know my DH won't want to ride it so I'm going to skip it this trip. :)

I did not see Jessie at the Toy story character spot. I would ask a handler at HS when she appears to help you.

The rest of your day looks great. I think that it is doable... if B and A cooperate!

Your list is definitely doable. We only spent one day at DHS, were there from rope drop until about 5:30 and we did absolutely everything we wanted and it was a pretty long list. Granted, my kiddos are a little older, but with a plan you should easily see what you want to see.

Yea for your DVC letter! I'm so intrigued by the idea of renting points and staying in a DVC resort.

Sci Fi isn't quiet at all (I don't think any restaurant in Disney is), so your child can talk away!!! Keep Sci-Fi -- it is a lot of fun to experience!

^^I agree, I think you and your kiddos will be fine at Sci Fi! I'm sure they'll love it! ;) Your day looks great!! I also love TOT! I hope you get to ride it!

I've never ridden it because it was closed down our last two trips :sad2: If it's closed this time, I might just cry - LOL!

Thanks, I will. We had a meltdown last time because we asked a CM at MK if Woody and Jessie were available to meet. They sent us to Frontierland all the while we are telling A. that she is going to meet W&J. When we got there, they were nowhere to be found and the CM there had no clue. Needless to say, we will NOT be saying a word until we are standing in front of them!

Yeah, I know making these plans I need to put a * at the beginning and then at the end:

*If the kids cooperate

Yeah, the more I look it over the more I think it is do-able. I'll just have to make a list of "morning and afternoon" things. We willl be going back to the hotel for a rest so that should help with our late night.

Yeah, I was nervous about renting points, but I PM'd a bunch of people and did a lot of research. In the end I found a great couple to rent points from and they have been really easy to work with.

That is awesome news! I don't know why I thought it was quiet.

KEEP SCI FI-- we were just there and LOVED IT. The milkshake's were delicious... I love Beauty and the beast and Dbf hadn't seen the movie but still enjoyed the show as much as a man can. :lmao:

Oh, and I almost forgot! I got my confirmation letter from my DVC owner. I am SO thankful that I found a great family to rent points from for this trip! It really is a lot of work for the owner to rent points out, so thank you!

:woohoo::yay:

sci fi is wonderful for kids! Give them a milk shake and they will stare at the movie screen!!! I've been going there since I was 6 or so and still love it and I'm 24 now lol. I think it's a great choice. Aside from that 50s Prime would be another option but I'd stick with sci fi and do 50s when they are older!

Great choices for DHS!! I really hope you'll be able to find Woody and Jesse and A can finally meet them!!!!

I would definitely keep Sci Fi, I have heard great things about it!!!!! Yummy Yummy Yummy!!!!!

I hope you're able to ride GMR it is one of my all time faves and a MUST-Do for me every single time I got to DHS!

I have heard such good things about the milkshake. DD has a major sweet tooth so if she's in a bad mood then I'm just getting her a shake and I know she'll be quiet for the rest of the dinner.

I know. We have Woody and Jessie dolls and she plays with them every day. She even has a Jessie Jibbitz!

Thanks, I can't wait to try the shakes!

I know, I hope we do too!

I have a shopping post coming up. I've been hitting the end of summer sales and slowly gathering things for our trip. Both of my kids have been sick for the last 2 weeks. B. got sick last week with a cold, then A. got sick with a fever, now B. is sick with a fever. UGH! I'm exhausted from being up in the middle of the night with them on and off for the past 2 weeks.

I'll post the update soon, just have to take the pix.

I'm sorry for you-sickness in the summer just seems worse to me since its not at all what you expect...:sad2:...when they're little like that and building their immune systems up-it feels like they just catch everything...and not sleeping for you-that's horrible-make sure you don't wear out-easier said then done-I know...I always would prefer being sick than having to watch them be sick-you just feel so bad...

Sending you healthy wishes...pixiedust:

We are def. doing Sci-Fi. I can't wait for a milkshake!

They are both doing a lot better today *knocks on wood*. Thanks for the Pixie Dust!

Well a few days ago Rob said "man, I really wish we were eating at Crystal Palace this trip." Me: :sad2:He does this to me every trip, so I should have been more prepared. He doesn't care about dining as long as he gets to look over the menus and "OK" my choices. Doesn't care, nope, not a care. Then at the last moment he pulls out the "why don't we eat here" card.

I told him there was no way that we could get an ADR for 8:00 for CP at this point, no way. He was disappointed, but understood.

Well, I was thinking about it today during naptime and thought I would check to see, and guess what....we have an 8:15 ADR at CP on our last day! :woohoo::woohoo: The park doesn't open until 9, so we will have an empty Main Street. :cloud9:

I cancelled Teppan Edo for that night. Now we can spend the beginning of the evening at MK and when they kick us out for MNSSHP we can decide if we want to go to a park or go back and swim.

I'm going to keep this a secret (try to at least) until the night before. Give a little pixiedust:to my hubby! I hope I can keep it a secret, I know he will be so happy!

What an awesome bit of pixie dust!! You do realize, however, that now your hubby will think you can do magic and next trip he'll say at the last minute, "I really wish we were eating at Le Celier or California Grill this trip" and expect that you'll be able to wave your magic wand and get it.:rotfl:

Can't wait to see your shopping pics!!
