The Fab Four Hit WDW! Updated: This Time Next Week Posts!

Hi there! I just started reading your trip report and I'm hooked! Your kids are adorable!! As for hotels, have you looked into the WDW Hilton? It's right next to, if not on property. We stayed there on our first trip and it was wonderful! It have family suites and seems to be fairly inexpensive if you get a good deal (priceline!) Anyway, good luck and happy planning! :thumbsup2

Welcome! Thank you!!

I have looked at the Hilton online! I like Priceline when I don't really care where we stay, but when I want something specific it makes me a nervous wreck!

Thanks for the tip. :)

I've stayed at the Sheraton Safari before and it was a beautiful place. I enjoyed it. The beds were so comfy! The blankets so soft. Sigh. :cloud9: Plus the pool had a giant python waterslide...can't be that!

Thanks for the tip! You can't beat a python slide.

Look what came in the mail today!!! Rob wants Goofy, so I guess that leaves me with Pluto. The Jr. ticket was already Minnie so that worked out perfect for A. :)

Also, after staying up way to late last night researching hotels and taking into consideration that Rob wanted at 1 Bedroom I decided to try to get one on Hotwire for our first and last nights.

Our thinking is that we are arriving in Orlando one day early so that we will be in a good mood on our first Disney day. So, if we got a regular room then it is possible that B. would sleep all night, but we didn't want to take that chance.
So after doing my Hotwire research I was able to get a 1 Bedroom at the Sheraton Vistana Village for $80! :woohoo:

For our last night I had originally wanted to stay at the airport but Rob talked me into getting the 1 Bedroom on our last night as well. His thinking was that we needed all the sleep we could get since we had an early flight and since I'm not the best morning person under regular conditions :rolleyes1 I needed to be able to get some rest to deal with the kids in the airport and on the flight. I was able to get this same hotel for our last night for $81! :woohoo:

Here are some pix of the hotel:

So, now that our accomodations are all settled I can start writing things in my Passporter. This is my first time buying one and I already love it.

You can't beat a hotel like that for $81!! WOO HOO!

I've been debating getting a Passporter for a bit now.

yay hotel!! I was going to tell you about that one-- my aunt and uncle stayed in a one bedroom this past spring and they LOVED the resort and the location to Disney--not to mention DTD is about a mile away. I was going to mention the Marriott village which is diag. to yours which is equally as nice but you can't beat $80 bucks!!!

Congratulations! Now everything really is booked. The hotel is gorgeous and having an extra room will be really nice. Yea for tickets in the mail!:yay:

Yes, it sucks. We never have good luck with the return flight. There has been so many flight cuts from Detroit to Orlando. :sad2: Southwest doesn't even do non-stop flights anymore. So if we wanted to stay later we would have had to pay a major fee, so we just added on another night. That's Disney math for ya. :)

Oh girl, I love that Disney Math!!!! :lmao:

Ugh! When we decided to fly in early so we didn't have to rush around our first day and feel like we miss a whole day of our vacation I was pumped! Rob said that I could just pick an offsite hotel and whatever was fine.

Well...you know I just can't pick a hotel and "go with it". I'm researching away here and trying to find a good deal, in a good location, that is cheap... Needless to say I feel like I've spent to much time on this and when I start to narrow it down Rob says, "Do you think you could find a 1 Bedroom suite for a good price so we can make sure to get a good night's sleep?" Um, you couldn't tell me that 3 days ago?! So, back to square one.

Anyone have any suggestions?

As for the last night, a very nice poster named Madge from the Jon & Kate thread, suggested that we stay at the airport Hyatt since our flight leaves at 8am. GREAT IDEA! I hadn't even thought of that! So I start to look into it today and apparently it isn't offered on Hotwire for the day I need.:sad2: So now I'm trying to figure out if it is on Priceline. Another headache.

I was going to work on all this tonight, but I need a break.

Any ideas or suggestions for hotels? Priceline? Finding cheap hotels?

Ohh.. we always use Hotwire.com.. i can't believe it's not offered on there.. hmmmm :sad2:

ohh.. I LOVE, LOVE those pics of that hotel. I"m glad everything worked out... I love my passporters too.. it's such a great purchase!!!

Hotel looks great and what a fabulous price! I think my friends may have stayed there March Break...

Wow! $81 what an awesome price!! :cool1: The one bedroom suite will hopefully give you lots of space too! Yay, congrats on getting all of your accomodations worked out! Can't wait to hear more! :thumbsup2

I know, we are so excited about it.

I really love my Passporter. I really wish I would have gotten the deluxe one though.

I was lucky that they had this one on Hotwire. It is so close to Disney, I can't believe we were able to get it at that price.

It really feels like our trip is getting close. I'm so happy to have everything figured out as far as hotel/tickets/transportation.

The hotel looks lovely!

I have had a Passporter for the last two trips and just adore it!

I really like the Passporter. I love the pockets in the back and it is organized so well.

Oh girl, I love that Disney Math!!!! :lmao:

I hate math, but I love Disney math! :lmao:

Yes, it is totally worth it.

That hotel looks beautiful!! How far is it from Disney?

Not far at all! I'm so surprised that I was able to get it.

I am reading a trip report right now and they stayed there and loved it. Looking forward to it.

Yes, we are so happy to have a 1-bedroom each night of the trip. It is hard to get 2 kids to go to bed when they seem to feed off of each other and energize each other.

That hotel looks wonderful!!!!!

Yes, the more I read about it, the more excited I am about it.

First of all YAY for Mickey Mail!!!!!!! Don't you just love getting things from Disney!!!!

Secondly what a great deal on your hotel!!! That is fabulous and the hotel just looks gorgeous!!!!! :thumbsup2

Just getting caught up! Great job on your ADRs.:thumbsup2 It looks like you found a beautiful hotel for your last night. I can't wait to hear all the details. It's so awesome to get to Disney nice and early but I hate early departures. We left last Oct. quite early from SSR and found ourselves trekking across the resort pulling our luggage in the dark, it must have been like 4:30 AM. I never want to do that again.

Yes, the early departure sucks! I would have been really upset had we not added on an extra night.

So....last night on our walk to the park I was telling Rob about the new free dining deal and he said "Wouldn't it be nice to go back in December right before free dining ends?" Yes it would be great!!!!

I think he was just "thinking out loud" but wouldn't that be great...ah, a girl can dream. :)
