i must say, me pirate friends are as good as ever the fourth time around. and i also must admit, my stomach flipped when they show the back of jack's head for the first scene he's in, just the way it flipped the very first time i saw him. i also gasp and almost cry when barbossa (grrrrrr) stabs poor jack, even though i know he doesnt die. well, i hope you know me friend, that i would visit ye pirate friends with ya, if i could, but im currently unavailable for jack insists upon searching for some non-existing treasure. please dont ask, mate.

I MUST ASK, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHEN I CAN SEE THE EPISODE OF THE TONGIHT'S SHOW WITH THE SEXIEST GUY ALIVE ON IT (aka the lovely mr. johnny christopher depp III) PLEASE TELL ME IMMEDIATELY!!

aye, you need not be talkin perfect pirate yet aston, not even dear william speaks perfect pirate (for example: aye, avast). you just have to spend more time in tourtuga is all. i was practically raised there after we crossed from england, so i been raised among pirates. you jsut gotta get the hang o' things is all mate.

Hello everyone....or should I say 'Ello poppets...

I posted this elsewhere, but thought you all might like to know that Johnny Depp will be on the Actors Studio with James Lipton on Bravo on Aug 30 at 1 p.m. and Aug 31 at 11:00 a.m.

This is a repeat show, but since I have not seen it...I am anxiously awaiting the coming weekend!

Hello. I'm the person that this "Magix" guy has been talking about. I'll get the pirate speak down soon. I've seen POTC 2x and think I'll probably see it again 1-2x. Really enjoyed the movie. Soundtrack is AWESOME! And so's Johnny and Orlando and all that good stuff.

Hey!! I thought the Aye Avast thing was cute!!Will is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!! I saw the movie AGAIN last night!!!!!!!! Aye, since no one else be postin' here, I'll give ye a random bit o' pirate knowledge te pass along te yer friends:

Should ye be approached by a ship flyin' the black flag, ye'll know they be pirates. But, should they be flyin' a red flag, matey, ye'll know they be pirates who'll give no quarter - meanin' ye'll be fightin' te the death.

And speakin' o' flags, did ye know that some pirates flew a plain black flag with no symbols upon it? Those what flew a flag with symbols would fly one with their own design upon it - each Captain had his own symbols, so ye'd know who were approachin' ye, if ye knew yer flags. Fer example, the flag most like the POTC logo, a skull with crossed cutlasses below it, belonged te the pirate Jack Rackham. If ye saw it, ye'd know it were him comin' te plunder yer ship.

And thar ye have it... random pirate facts te amaze yer friends.

oh yeah, i have a new favorite line:

Yer not crazy, Emily - just passionate! Ye see, it's all in how ye look at it, mate!

I've been trying te remember what pirate fact o' the day I were plannin' te give ye, mateys, but I don't recall what it be, so I'll give ye this, since it's in me mind:

In POTC, the city o' Port Royal, Jamaica were portrayed as a nice, orderly town (what with the Governor livin' there and all), while Tortuga (an island off the coast of what now be known as Haiti, but were then known as Hispaniola) be portrayed as "the wickedest city on Earth". In point of fact, it were Port Royal that were known as "the wickedest city on Earth" and were full o' pirates, a great many drinkin' establishments and plenty of willin' women (well, willin' fer a price o' course). Many a famous pirate paid visit te Port Royal in his day, includin' Edward Teach aka Blackbeard and Jack Rackham (fer who Rackham's Cay off Port Royal were renamed - I'll tell ye why in a future fact). But, all the fun in Port Royal met its end shortly b'fore noon on June 7, 1692 when a great earthquake rocked the town and sucked under the water a full two blocks o' the city, buildings, people and all, and a tidal wave, caused by the quakes, washed through most o' what were left. A full 2000 souls met their end in that quake, with another 2000 dyin' soon after o' injuries and disease. It were after that, and a few more tragedies that plagued Port Royal over time, that the city o' Kingston became the center o' activities in Jamaica. Aye, and some say that them earthquakes were the wrath o' God upon such a wicked place... Judge fer yerselves, mateys.

Aye, I was a pirate just last Saturday ago (volunteering fer lil' kiddies). I walked thee plank...well...sorta....just waded in 'bout 10-15 feet and dropped to me knees. Had on a white t-shirt, yer know. Had me a sword and everything (even though it was borrowed).

Hope me pirate speak has improved.

A big enough crew have we te take on all who should cross our path - aye, even the Black Pearl, should she appear upon our horizon! Well armed we be and full o' murderous spirit. Ye best all watch yerselves and those ye care fer - if we set our sights upon ye, we'll offer no quarter.

well ye threats be rather frightenin' mate, i be shakin' in me boots. but i must say, there ain't be no ship the pearl can't beat, not even ye cursed ship u seem to think be indestructable. the pearl is the greatest ship in the spanish main, love, in the entire ocean, maybe the entire world! so i must be warnin' YE also, that ye better watch whose path ye be crossin' 'cause i'm sure the pearl is more of a threat than u think, so u better watch it before ye head gets too big fer ye shoulders if ye know what i mean
