Barbossa be delightful as always. Ah, how I do love te watch him there upon the quarterdeck, givin' orders te his crew. A more fearsome pirate has ne'er sailed the seven seas. Sets me heart all aflutter, he does.

Aha! Bet ye thought I'd fergotten all about yer daily pirate facts, eh? Not so, says I. Here's a simple one fer ye - I've got much better, grosser ones fer future days, but the last were a sad one, so I'll let ye have somethin' friendlier today.

A bit o' vocabulary fer ye:

A "Buccaneer" be a pirate what sails the Caribbean and Spanish Main.

A "Corsair" be a pirate what sails the Mediterranean seas.

A "Privateer" be a piratey-type what does his plunderin' with a "Letter of Marque" from the royals o' his home country, usually attackin' the ships o' his country's enemies, and shares a percentage o' his plunder with the crown.

A "Pirate" be one what does his plunderin' o' his own accord and shares with naught but his crew.

So... our boys be Buccaneers and Pirates proper! Just the way we like 'em!

i just watched me beloved johnny on inside the actor's studio and i must say, he is one of the hottes men alive, if not the hottest. the list of reasons why i love him is about 1000 pages long. but anyway, he was fantastic on the show, as always. afterwards, i watched the making of once upon a time in mexico so i have been watchin' an hour and a half of johnny stuff. not a bad way to spend an hour and a half!!! i also watched 3 hours of orlando last night in the lotr! woo woo!

so back to pirates............

Well, Ashton, yer Good Charlotte be fairly good te listen te. The lads be a bit young fer me, but I can surely see the attraction. Tried te find a good site fer ye te listen a bit te one o' me all time favorites, Oingo Boingo, but were unable te find one what sounded good. Ah well, prob'ly a bit too 80's fer ye, anyway, but yer Good Charlotte reminded me o' them. Aye, I could see a great many bands they be influenced by (Alice Cooper comes te me mind, with that makeup!). But, per'aps I'm showin' me age a bit too much, eh matey?

Glad te have ye aboard, pmcpmc! Care te declare yer allegiances? Though it seems not many other than Emily, Ashton and meself have done so. Be ye aligned with the likes o' Sparrow and Turner? Or be ye sailin' with the cursed pirates? Or, fer that matter, be ye with the navy and fightin' against us all? In which case, ye best be armed well, fer we'll give no quarter te those what sail fer the crown.
