Hello,
I am a very pooh sized woman at 5"10" and 390 lbs. Now that I have about 7 trips under my belt, I can say I have ridden every ride at WDW. I will list the few rides I had issues with at the parks in the hopes that it will help someone else. If I don't mention the ride, it means I had no issues at all. I love the pooh size friendliness of WDW!
Magic Kingdom:
Space Mountain-I had lots of room on this ride in the back seat. The lap bar didn't fit where it should, and I had a few issues getting out because it sits so low. It wouldn't keep me from riding it again. The back seat your legs go around the person in front of you so there is lots of length room, just tricky getting out. Not so much in the front seats.
Astro Orbiter- Again, I fit ok, but getting out takes some finesse.
Tomorrowland Speedway- Belt fits great, gas pedal is not for the long-legged folks, but I made it work. Helps if you have a young one to drive for you.
Teacups- Tight squeeze, and my belly rubs the center hub, but I make do because my little one loves it so much.
Epcot:
Test Track- I have found it is much easier to get buckled in the middle seat where there is no shoulder strap. Try to pull the belt all the way out and buckle it while still semi-standing, then sit into it.
Soarin- The belts are plenty long enough, but for the comfort of others I usually request a aisle seat so that I don't have to overflow into another's seat.
Mission Space- It is a pretty tight fit, but not uncomfortable. I do believe anyone larger than me would not be able to ride.
Animal Kingdom:
Kali River Rapids- The belt was not quite long enough, however, I used my trick of buckling the belt while semi standing around my thighs, then sitting into the belt. Not the most comfortable way to ride, but the ride was worth it!
Primeval Whirl- I have to sit on one side alone, as they are made for two people on each side.
Hollywood Studios:
Rock n Rollercoaster- I fit in fine with no issues, however, it is REALLY hard to get back out because of the curved floors. I have some not so great knees though.
Star tours- Again, ask to sit on the aisle so that you don't have to "overlap", and there is slightly more room.
I had no issues with any other rides. The theater seats were mostly tight, but I found it ok as long as I sat on the edge of the seat and then slid into the seat, allowing the armrests to go over my hips. Much more comfortable that way.
Hope this helps, as I know how nervous I was about my size before my first visit. Have fun! and don't let anything stop you!
