Hi everyone,
I would just like to put in my two cents about being Pooh sized at Disney. I am 5'4 and 280 lbs, very bottom heavy. I was nervous about fitting on the rides but I fit on every single one, including kid rides like the Barnstormer. Most rides I felt were absolutely roomy.
The only negative weight related thing I experienced was at a busy lunch at Tusker House. It was difficult to maneuver between the crowded tables to the buffet and back again. It wasn't the biggest deal but was a little embarrassing.
Walking for long distances can be difficult. I almost caved in and rented a
scooter but my pride wouldn't allow it. With good walking shoes and rest stops at benches, I was fine. I think good touring plans are important for other Pooh sized folks with stamina issues. By being there at rope drop every morning and choosing FPs wisely, I was able to see ninety percent of attractions with under a ten minute wait at each. I would not have been able to stand in hour long lines due to my knees and feet hurting so badly so I do recommend planning as much as possible to cut wait times if you have these kind of issues as well.
