How long in advance to you recommend walking to get ready? We are going in October. Is it too soon to start?
As someone else said, never too soon to start! I've been going to The Emily Program for the last 7 months for eating disorders and recently started seeing a physical therapist for my issues so I CAN start moving again to get healthy. It'll be uncomfortable at first, but don't do too much at any one time. Slow and steady will win the race. Just a bit at a time. My dietitian and counselor for the disorder have told me that if I start to excerise on any given day w/ the specific though to do it for weight loss, that I'm not to do it at all. I need to stop thinking about that and move because it will make me feel better and alleviate my pain. Even if it causes me discomfort in the beginning. Focus on the postive that will come w/o any doubt from movement and weight loss will just be a bonus and you'll never be disappointed. It's a theory that works, but IS hard to do.

RAH RAH for you!
