Hogwarts. Valerie has a cat named Dinah and Mady has an owl named Leila I believe. I just started a fanfic about the lot of us on the HP thread going to hogwarts, because I was bored...
“This is super fantastic now isn’t it?” Kayla whispered irritated as she carried her brown-spotted, owl Riku towards a towering, maroon, painted house that sat on the corner of Valent and tavern drive. Riku moved about in her cage as Kayla felt raindrops run down her arm. The sky was full of dark clouds covering for miles. Kayla began to walk even faster as she spotted a strike of lightning to the South. She approached the 2 story house and set Riku’s cage down onto the porch beside her. She leaned over to knock on the door but before she had a chance the door swung open and there Valerie stood looking like she was ready to leave for the US and that she was never coming back. “Umm. Did you take your whole room?” Kayla looked up at her. “No. Just half of it” Valerie grinned as Kayla walked inside sitting Riku down next to Valerie’s cat Dinah who stared curiously at Riku and pawing at the cage every once and awhile. “Called Mady yet?” Valerie asked as her and Kayla walked into the kitchen. “Yea. We are suppose to go down to her house next” Kayla responded. “Soda?” Valerie asked looking over to Kayla who shook her head. “Where is the rest of your things anyway.

You do know after we get Mady we are suppose to head down to the train station?” Valerie said opening her soda. “Left everything at Mady’s yesterday so I wouldn’t have to carry it everywhere” Kayla stated as they walked back to the door. “Your Mum knows you’re leaving today right?” Kayla asked. “Yep she left this morning since teachers are to be there early. Gave me the lecture about getting there safely. No wondering off…fooling around.” Valerie muttered. “Ah I see. Bet it’ll be nice having her around the school though. Knows where everything is” Kayla responded. Valerie’s mother worked at Hogwarts for the past 3 years as an auror. She stayed around the school most of the time and occassionaly helped out with the schedules. Valerie’s father worked with Kayla’s at the Ministry of Magic. Both of them worked in the study of muggles artifacts which is why both Kayla and Valerie used muggles tools. While Kayla’s mum was a Quidditch referee. “Well I suppose we shall be off now shouldn’t we?” Valerie spoke picking up Dinah. “Well I suppose if we do want to catch the train… Do you still have your letter?” Kayla looked over to her quickly. “Yes!” Valerie said excitedly showing her the letter she had received from Hogwarts stating that she had been accepted. Although it was very clear to both of the girls that they were witches as they were both Purebloods the excitement still got the best of them. Kayla pulled hers out of her pocket showing it to Valerie and returned it back to her pocket once more. “Then we shall be off” Kayla said smiling as she picked up Riku and opened the door. It was approximately 9:30 as they stepped outside of Valerie’s home. “We should hurry. If it’s sprinkling now it’s bound to pour later.” Valerie stated as she pushed her cart of things down the sidewalk. Kayla shut the door and followed behind Valerie with Riku. Valerie, Kayla, and Mady all lived in the wizarding world of chartan, but Elyse and Savannah were both muggle-born and lived in a small muggletown south of Newsberry and about 20 miles from Chartan. Both were best friends and always liked adventure. Neither of them knew they were witches until they met Melissa and Ashley…half-bloods from Newsberry on the playground that they traveled to one day. The girls all the same age were about 8 at the time. Melissa and Ashley had already known that they would be heading off to Hogwarts In the next few years so they decided to try some kind of magic. They both ran around looking for anything to turn into a buck. “Melissa! I found a snail.” Ashley called out to her friend. She ran over to see a quite large looking snail trudging over the concrete. “What is the spell so I can say it?” Melissa asked hurridly. “How am I suppose to know, I told you my mum wouldn’t tell me anything. Told me I could learn when we go to that school. Besides don‘t you think we need a little more practice before trying to turn something into a animal that could easily rip us apart?” Ashley responded. “Oh. C’mon like it’s really going to work. ahh. Fine, I’ll just make one up.” Melissa spoke and cleared her throat looking down at the snail. “Slimy slithering ugly muck, turn this snail into a buck.” Melissa stated to the snail. Nothing happened. “Ha! Told you we needed more practice. Besides we haven’t even gotton wands yet how are we suppose to do anything with out wands.” Ashley said disappointed. They turned around as they heard two girls giggling at them as they walked past. Melissa looked up at them “What are you laughing at” Melissa asked them angrily. The girls turned around. “What is that you are trying to do? Turning a snail into something else? Not sure that’ll be working” Savannah said looking at both of them. “Why when we go to---” Ashley punched her in the shoulder. “What!” Melissa said looking to her. “Muggles them two they can’t know about the wizarding world” Ashley informed her. “Muggles? We are not muggles…Savannah what are muggles?” Elyse whispered to her friend. “I don’t know…I guess just some word they made up” Savannah responded.
