This sounds so much better than the taco bell I just had. I love good Italian food (and obviously bad Mexican food).

I had a leftover hamburger from home for lunch. Not nearly as good as Italian. I had eggplant parm when for the first time when we went to the Italian resturant in Epcot and I loved it. I have chicken before but not eggplant. It all sounds so good!

Hi All!!
Since food has been a topic, for lunch I had a Wendy’s chicken sandwich and a diet coke – chicken sandwich was so-so (should of got the chili), the diet coke, always great! Circus peanuts for dessert – now I wonder why I’m gained a few pounds??

DD’s concert was great – I’m always impressed on what our music teachers can do with the kids, having them only for 4 weeks.

Pakey: I remember when our cat used to leave us such delicious presents – hairballs – usually discovering these gems in the middle of the night by stepping on them with bare feet making our way to the bathroom. Almost as nice as your wake up presents.

Jo: Your DD is brave wearing those T’s … in NY, you definitely could see these kind of shirts too.

Shelly: Love the doggie hat – now it needs to say, "Happy Birthday and have a magical day!!" Congrats on reaching the 100th day countdown!

Autumn – I love to have my hair done … I guess it’s so seldom, that’s why! Enjoy the pampering.

Hope everyone's dinner as just as good as some of the lunches!!

DD has soccer so I go straight to the fields, its from 6-8 pm ... so don't get home early on Tues/Thurs.

Hi everyone!

I'm just now getting home and I see that I've missed alot! This morning I did my mall walking, then spent a few minutes in Dillards. They have the extra 40% off the already marked-down sale prices. I didn't have much time, but I think I may go back tomorrow and shop. My DS had an appt. with a cardiologist, and of course I wanted to be there. Long story short, the dr. does not think there is anything wrong with his heart, but he did an EKG and echo test. The EKG looked fine and he will call with the other results. He thinks he is possibly having anxiety, although DS says he isn't anxious about anything. I feel a little less worried than I did, but I still don't like it. So then we went to lunch at Piccadilly. That's always a given when we are out together. I told him he was faking a heart condition just for a free lunch. He's my baby boy!

So let's see now........

I have to start with Shelly's doggie b'day party. That picture of your experience enhanced puppy with the Mickey hat is adorable! She looks just like Lassie! And please tell me you have all heard of Lassie. Lassie transcends generations! And congrats on 100 days!

I was fortunate not to wake up to any cat "presents" this morning. And it's a good thing, because I spent all day cleaning and mopping yesterday.

I also don't like having my hair done. I know most people think of it as a treat and being pampered, but I just want to get it done and out of there. But then when they go too fast, I get ticked thinking I'm spending waaayyyy too much money if you think of it by the hour. So I guess I'm not a very good client.

Eggplant parmesan....mmmm! My favorite! I had a veggie plate at Piccadilly. Of course, my veggies being macaroni and cheese, broccolli/rice casserole, and black-eyed peas, don't go getting too impressed with my healthy eating. Oh, and a soft yeast roll!

Love the Gator tank top. Well, you know what I mean, Jo. Love the saying, just not the color.

I'm on team Diet Coke. I don't like coffee in any shape or form.

It's good to hear that everyone seems to be feeling well today!

Watching SYTYCD tonight. Jose has to be going home tonight, but I just hate to see any of the others leave. I think they will all have careers in dance, though.

This was a lazy post, but I haven't done a thing in the house today. I need to get up and make it look like I've been busy before my DH walks in from work. LOL

Thanks, lara! I didn't explain much, but my DS has been having some tightness in his chest for a couple of weeks, along with palpitations. So we had to get him in and checked out ASAP.

I THINK I like my hair... I'm just not sure. There are a few too many low lights but it might just take some getting used to. It took 3 hours though! I am so impatient when it comes to getting my hair done, I think for the last two hours I was sitting there just bouncing my leg anxiously. Don't worry, I tipped well!

Really looking forward to SYTYCD tonight. I hope Lauren is okay, I read on Twitter that she had a concussion and was dehydrated. Poor thing!

I have a story that will make your hair stand on end! Around February, I went to the beauty school (or whatever they call it now) to have my hair highlighted and trimmed. I go every now and then to the school, because it's alot cheaper, and I usually like it just as much as my regular salon. But the trade-off for cost is that it takes much longer, since they have to get the instructors to check them occasionally and they are still new. Well, this day I had an appt. for 2:00. After talking about what we were going to do, the guy got started around 3:00. I'm not kidding when I say I walked out of there at 8:00! 6 hours I was sitting in that chair!! It got to the point where it was just funny to me. I couldn't believe how long he was taking to do everything. It was dark when I left, and as soon as I got in my car, I just started laughing. I called a couple of people and said, "you're not going to believe where I've been!" I had to share it. Needless to say, I haven't been back.

I see while I was gone the topic went from skydiving to lunch. I had Wendy's chicken pecan salad, no cheese, only used 1/2 the pecans , gotta cut the fat. Added some blueberries to up the health factor. Yummy!

Autumn, I bet your hair looks beautiful. My Grandpa used to say: "you have to suffer to be beautiful". So if you endured 3 hours for your hair, it must look beautiful!

Jane hope your son is OK. You must be worried. There is so much pressure on kids now, no wonder they are anxious.

It's Friday, girls! We made it!

Jane: 6 hours??

I'm leaving for a friend's cottage for the long weekend so I've got to get my behind in gear and start packing! I am such an over packer and I have to make sure I don't show up for a 3 day trip with a giant suitcase.

First I've got to go to the grocery store to pick up some food for the weekend. I emailed my friend whose cottage we are staying at asking him if there was anything in particular he needed me to bring and he replied "Sweet Chili Heat Doritos" and that was it. Men.
