The Elusive Chocolate Buffet

The sushi buffet was on Thursday of our 7 night on the Magic. It was on the same day as the Captains Gala. There was a seafood theme through all the meals. (we don't eat seafood so we ate from the quick serve stuff at lunch and at dinner our servers made sure we got stuff other then the lobster etc)
The sushi was at the end of Top siders where the omlette station is in the morning. PPl were going crazy for the stuff. I moved over to the salad. :-)

Is this something where I can bring a plate back to the room? We have a two-year old who should be in bed at that time so I would probably send my husband out for both of us.

Yes we went and got ours and took it back to the room.

We have been twice, mind you, years ago; and neither time was it disorganized or packed. yes, there would be a long line at the beginning, but one year I was near the end and did not find many items completely gone. :goodvibes

However, your comment may give a clue why SOME of us were told of it quietly and it is not publicized much. Maybe there have been a few occasions that were overcrowded, so DCL hopes to avoid that :confused3

It was very busy when we were in the med last year, but you would think disney would want that as there is soooooooooooooo many cakes etc, so they do not waste their food.

It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it..... :rolleyes1

So much hard work LOL.

We just got off the Feb 11-18th Magic Cruise and it was the dessert buffet on the Thursday night. It said 11:15 in the Navagator but they let everyone into Lumiere's just after 11pm.
We had late dinner so we just took some pics and I took a couple choc covered strawberries.
Our Server meantioned that they were discontinuing it and that was going to be one of the last ones.

It is all these little things that disney do that keep us wanting to go with disney, I hope they do not stop it

:sad1:

I am surprised it is so full since they don't tell anyone about it. I am still looking for the elusive sushi buffet. I determined to find it this time.

We tried this last year and it was not worth it IMHO. DH loved the crawfish, but the sushi was mediocre at best....

Sushi Buffet? The lunch buffet on Sea Days I believe have a pretty big Sushi spread. My husband loves sushi and we have had it at the lunch buffet on all our cruises.
