It is not unusual to see Air Force One jets fly overhead. (Trainees)

Lots of activity at Offut AFB. Part of the surrounding highway has been, and is, blocked off. Cement barriers, black suits, fighter jets circling the base, another government black jet landed, another took off (prez inside?)...
Local media cannot go inside. Press corp are in the underground bunkers. (Bunkers are several stories deep and they say house the most up to date military communication equipment available. Supposedly a world mtg going on now. (Have to guess that is assumption.)

ABC is reporting Bush is leaving Offutt. All traffic is shut down around the base.

I heard on our local(DC) radio station that the President is being kept somewhat mobile, to lessen the chances of any possible attacks on him.
Here in the DC area, we can hear fighter jets waaay overhead, being scrambled. No other jets in the air, which is somewhat odd, since we are on one of the regular DC National flightpaths.
