The DVC WISH thread

Making reservations online.
Getting to choose the room locations (close to DSA for us please)
A way to view all vacation points from the different contracts in one location that MAKES SENSE, instead of having to scroll up and down and try to figure out what the heck was taken from where! :confused3
Ditto for being able to view vacation details.

Wow, probably more, but that's all I can think of for now.

Some great ideas here, would love online booking, actually, a really interactive web site and online chat with MS.

Oooh, online chat with a Guide while on the site would be great! Anyone notice that they have that on the regular, non-member DVC site? It would be great to have that for all us DVCers too. Of course, you would not be able to chat with your own personal Guide, but having someone online to answer those quick questions would be super.

Also, we are AP holders in Florida. Wouldn't it be great to have a "magical" AP that would work in CA DL too?

Speaking of AP, wouldn't it be nice to have a level you could buy, similar to what they have at Universal, that is a Fast Pass, all the time? I don't know about the rest of you but I would pay more for that! So, a super magical AP that includes California and Fast Pass all the time! Wow, that would be great.

DVC management, are you reading all these great ideas?

Lots of good ones here...lots that I never thought of, but I will now!

I'm easy. One thing that I've thought of that I want is a night table on both sides of the bed in a studio. I know they didn't have two at SSR two years ago. I was so sick that year, coughing all night every night, and I had set up my pop up laundry bag as a (very unstable) night table to put my water and cough drops on. Also, I like a clock (I bring my own) on MY side too, so that I can open just one eye and see what time it is, rather than have to wake myself up more to sit up and look over DH (he gets the clock, because he's an early riser).

See? It's the little things...:)

What's the regular non-member DVC site? :confused3

The non-member site is at dvc.disney.go.com.

If you click on "About Disney Vacation Club" you get a chat pop-up screen asking you if you want to chat with a Disney Vacation Club Representative now.

I actually just tried it, to see what would happen. A pop-up screen asks for your personal information and if you are a DVC member. I said yes and this is what I saw:
"Regrettably, live chat is currently not available for Membership-related questions. As a Disney Vacation Club Member, you have two fantastic resources available to assist you. You can contact a Member Services Vacation Advisor by calling (800) ******** Sunday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ET. You can also log into the Member web site at www.dvcmember.com, where you can search our online content, submit a reservation request, or perform several self-service functions like changing your mailing address, paying annual dues, or banking your Vacation Points. "

Bummer

  • Also discount on all ticket options, not just AP at both WDW and DL.
  • Off-site DVC in the mountains (like the proposed but not built one in Colorado).
  • DVC at Poly, definitely! Yes.

Discounts on all ticket media, AND sleeper chairs in addition to the pullout sofas in ALL the villas, but most especially the one bedrooms.

I wish I could get one of those king-bed only OVIR rooms upon request. Otherwise... I wish the Gulf side of Florida had waves. Anything I want... right?

DVC GF!!!

Fast passes from the resorts before you head out to the park!!

OR better yet, if a DVC member staying on points All-day Fast Passes (DVC Express :thumbsup2)

I would like to see a sale / promotion on AKV points that doesn't require a minimum purchase of 100+ points! I want to do an add-on there one day but don't want to purchase THAT many and I don't want to pay full price!:goodvibes So we're sitting on the fence waiting for the right incentive......
