We just returned last night from a wonderful 6 day stay at the Marriott at DD.
The cast is:

My mom and dad
My DH's mom(his father is deceased)
My 25 yr. old extremely ADD brother
My sister,her DH,her 3yr.old DS and 8mo. old DD--they arrive late sunday and depart wed.morning
We (my family and MIL) depart glennville at 9:00am Sat,Dec.8 headed to Brunswick,Ga to meet my parents and brother who is meeting us at my sister's house. I woke up with an awful stomach ache!! We had mostly packed the car on Friday, so after everyone was up,dressed and fed we left. After meeting my parents and brother we left for our drive down to Orlando(suppossed to be a 3 1/2 hour drive). We left at 11:00am expecting to arrive in Orlando by 3:00pm, check in ,rest and be at DD at Rainforest Cafe for 5:00 PS and to purchase park tickets.We stopped to eat in Jacksonville and my son Ethan got upset b/c I had given our older son his suprise treat bag and my mom had stuck his in her trunk and of course the older brother rubbed it in. Ethan then proceeded to compain about his stomach hurting. My DH and MIL said he was just upset. I knew this would come back to haunt me later!! When we left Wendy's, Ethan had his treat bag and everything seemed to be going ok. However, as we are almost past Jacksonville, we run into stop and go traffic b/c they only have 1 lane open due to road repairs!! This caused us to arrive our hotel (comfort suites on 192 just for this 1st night)at 4:00pm--my parents were staying at SOG and dropped off my brother and took my 2nd son,Ethan with them( they were going to let 2 older boys swap off nights)We knew we'd be rushed, but figured we could get to Rainforest Cafe by 5:00. We checked in and had a very clean, nice room. Let me back up and say that DH wanted to drive down at 4am Sun. morning, but it was my choice to find a cheap decent hotel for Sat. night so that we could relax!HA!We quickly cleaned up and drove to DD. We made it to Cafe right at 5, but my parents were no where to be seen. The hostess said she couldn't seat us until the whole party was there. By 5:45 the place was getting packed and everyone was getting very impatient!! So, we decided to go ahead and just eat ourselves. At 6pm my parents show up with Ethan who had thrown up all in their car! I knew it!The waiter was really nice and let them pull up a table. By this time my stomach had calmed down and I was starving!!I really liked this rest. especially with kids. We had a nice meal!! Needless to say Ethan was fine and my parents took him back to their hotel and we went back to ours. My brother and I ran to Wal Mart to find stroller extensions b/c the little umbrella stroller I had bought was too small and killing my back. Well they didn't have any so we just decided to go back to hotel to sleep. Well I went to bed at 11pm and was up at 2am and couldn't sleep for anything. My MIl was snoring so loud!! Well I think I went back to sleep at 6 and got up at 7! We were leaving by 8:30 to get to MK.
Day 2--MK--We arrived at MK to meet my parents and Ethan at City Hall about 9:30. We had a great morning and did all of Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and only got fastpass for Space Mountain and Pooh. We had lunch at Pinnochio Haus and it was decent and very cute to look down on It's a Small World ride. Everyone was in a good mood. So we left about 2pm and drove to Marriott DD to check in. We were to meet at Epcot at 6pm. The check in was easy and a bellman helped us get up to the room pretty quick.When we checked in, the package I had ordered from WDW florist was there and they sent someone to our room with it but it wasn't there when we got there--more on this later! We were on the 11th floor with a view of DD. It was Beautiful! Our rooms were very nice and clean and we just loved it. (we got the $29 rate --my brother had to stay at Best Western DD b/c there weren't any rooms left at Marriott but he got a $39 rate and said it was nice with large rooms) We took 5:30 bus to Epcot and met my parents at spaceship earth. Since everything was about to close in FW and everyone was hungry, we went onto WS where we suppossed to eat around the world. Well we got to Norway and ate at their Counter Svc. None of the men were impressed and my DH pitched a fit about not getting to eat. My 3 yr old fell asleep and so my mom and MIL stayed w/him while the rest of us for Maelstrom--it was fun, but a little scary. We then walked back to Mexico and my DH and oldest son ate while the rest of us rode the boat ride. By this time it was 7:30 and we wanted to ride what was still open in FW, which was Test Track,Honey, I shruck audience, and spaceship earth. By this time my DH had stopped pouting and we had a nice evening. We arrived back at our hotel about 10:30 very tired!! Tomorrow--MK to meet my sister and her family!!
