The Duggar Family is pregnant AGAIN!

No offense, Chobie, but if we cut everything off of the airways that was not admirable, there'd be nothing left. I'd rather watch the Duggers, then, say, anything with Britney, etc...:rotfl:

It is about entertainment and money, rather than "newsworthy."

Ain't that the truth. The Duggars specials do have an entertainment value. Would love to see them on Wife Swap.

Do we have the right to tell them how many children to have? Of course not.

Is what they are doing a great idea....I don't think so. I think it's wrong to rob the older siblings of a childhood.

The Detroit News ran a story on a family with 17 kids. The most telling thing to me is that only one of the older kids had gotten married. These kids were all trying to live some of their lives and did not want to leap right in and start on the babytending treadmill again.

I've seen this in several families with larger children, including my mom's. There were 8 kids, and only 8 grandkids, with a couple of the older children having no kids at all. They'd been there, done that. A friend's family was similar...large family, but most of the kids put off having children until their late 30s, or had no kids at all.

You only get ONE childhood. The older Duggars are getting NO childhood.

It's not something to be applauded.

:rotfl: Does anyone want to do a quick calculation of what their stimulus check amount might be!:confused3

I feel happy for the miracle of a baby, but I bet those kids look ill and shocked because they are tired of raising children! Yes, you can have as many children as you would like. However it is not the job of your other children to raise them. That is selfish. I swear she pops them out like popcorn from an air popper. I also agree that I don't know any 19 year old (especially a boy!) who wants to dress like his 2 year old brother. Good Lord! Maybe Jim Bob needs to stick to his juristictions and leave Michelle alone. They seem like a pleasant family and I have no problems with large families (heck I would love more kids!) but dh and I will be raising our kids. We won't be passing them off to a buddy. Ridiculous.

The entire "quiverfull" idea makes me queasy. They need to take some responsibility for this and stop giving "God" credit for the children they purposefully chose to make. I wouldn't care about them having so many children if their buddy-system didn't seem so repressive and abusive.

The Duggars pay $0 taxes to the the US Government. They have thier own "church" which is their house. They have services and everything. Freakin' scam artists!

I don't have a problem with large families. I have 4 myself which I guess is nothing compared to the Duggars but I am against having a child that you intend for another child to take care of.

Bingo. Do you think they discussed having another with the sibling that will ultimately be the one raising the new baby?

What will they do when the older kids finally leave home? Maybe some of the older kids still at home will have to double up.

I don't see anything wrong with big families either but the Duggar's way of handling it is just weird IMO. I guess to each their own.

Great way for her to make more money, though. If she didn't get pregnant one year people would probably lose interest in them real quick. She has to keep popping them out for the show.

She'll just throw them on the pile with the rest of them and expect their "buddy" or whatever she calls them to raise them in their "jurisdictions".

OMG! YOU said what I was thinking. :lmao: :rotfl2: I find it to be appaulling, but oh well...
