The Duggar Family is pregnant AGAIN!

About college education:

This is what's on the ATI website, the academic program that the Duggars use to educate their children. By the way, in order to be "approved" for these courses, "Families must agree to many guidelines in order to be accepted into the school and continue in it." These guidelines have to do with everything from child-rearing, to dress, to the promise to live a scripturally-based life...according to the interpretation of Bill Gothard.

Out of ATI has grown many ministries that are available to provide post secondary education in a controlled environment and create vehicles for personal ministry, also in a controlled environment.

Log Cabin Counselors – program for troubled youth

Orphans and homeless – offers shelter, character training and academics

Verity – distance learning program

Telos – distance learning AA degree program

Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy – distance learning degree program

Excel – for young women

Alert – military-style Christian program for young men

Photography

Midwifery – for young women

CharacterLink – protected internet

I'm watching the Oak Brook College of Law video. Any school that distributes media in Real Player format is straight from the Devil. :scared1:

**shudder**

There was recently an article in the New York Times about love and courtship in Saudi Arabia. Young Saudi men usually live with their parents until married and of course the women have no choice. The Duggars would feel very much at home in Saudi Arabia.

At least it's the way of life for 99.99% of the Saudis; there no chance of culture clash if they decide to live their whole lives in their own country.

Also, woman don't have a choice in marriage (actually, they do in many families...parents try to match-make compatible marriages, and even have the couple meet to see if they "like" each other. They are never allowed to be alone with each other, however.), but with women routinely go to universities and obtain professional degrees. If they actually use them is another story. And the average marriage age there is 26 for men and 24 for women, giving them time to finish school and for the men to have established jobs.

Note to self: Do not hire attourney with degree from Oak Brook College. :sad2:

I don't think Jim Bob could ever bring himself to hit his wife.

It seems like they truly adore each other.

Really? I don't know if I've ever seen them looking longingly into each other's eyes. To me Jim Bob is like the CEO of Dugger, Inc. and Michelle is the baby factory that keeps them staffed.

ITA, but then they never have any conflicts about cleaning up the house, cooking or taking care of the kids - not their primary responsibility. And they don't ever have to have any discussions about whose responsibility birth control is.

The only reason they never argue is because Michelle doesn't really have any say. It's Jim Bob's way or the highway. Birth control is not considered a responsible act within their church/organization. Their sole purpose is to reproduce. I feel bad for when Michelle's uterus finally calls it quits. She'll be pretty much useless around there once all the kids are done with their schooling. Luckily she has a lot of boys that will be able to continue with their education into their 20's so she has at least a couple of decades left.

Does anybody else look at Michelle Duggar and see "One Woman Concubine?"

I know. I was kidding, but not having any responsibility for day-to-day activities would make my DH and I a lot more relaxed too, and since Michelle has mentioned that the children take charge of things so she and Jim Bob can "visit", I'm sure the romance is alive in their marriage.

For the sake of her uterus I hope it's not.

That is what it all seems to boil down to. Will JB get a new "baby maker" when she breaks down. Kinda like getting a new car when to old one won't run anymore :rotfl2:

Maybe he'll get one of those efficient imports.

If you read up on their religious beliefs you will see that they do not believe in higher education for girls/women (and from quiver-fulls that I have met online higher means above 8th grade).
They don't believe in dating, but in parent supervised courting, even for adult children. They don't believe a child should move out until marriage to avoid temptation of "sins of the flesh".

 :woohoo:
Bow chica wow wow!:rotfl:

They are kinda "different" hey? Michelle talks so softly and so wistfully, It's almost like she's living in a fantasy world.:sad2:

Why not stop the baby factory business and start being thankful for what they have and enjoy all those kids (if that's possible with so many). Take on some responsibilites even. Dunno... it's all too "nice" if you know what I mean. Like how can a family of that size not have conflicts? They just seem too "cool".

I don't know of any (normal) family that doesn't have conflicts, so what makes the Duggars so darn special and wonderful? Maybe the kids just have too many chores/jurisdictions to take care of that there isn't time for the usual conflicts/arguements.

She IS living in a fantasy world. How many mothers give birth, BF for 6 months, then had the kid off to the eldest daughter to finish raising? None that I know of  It is like Aisling said earlier, she seems to hav ethe OCD about having babies.

I wonder how she is going to feel when she can no longer have more babies, about like I do, not being able to have any at all :confused3

She's totally into their kids at least as long as they depend on her as a food source. Once they can eat solids she's got to make another one to maintain that "bond" with something. I'm actually a little surprised she's not one of those mothers that "B" feeds until the kids decide they don't want any more.

I think the poor lady has an obsession with pregnancy and newborns. It's a very creepy fetish.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. I don't think Jim Bob keeps firearms in the house but there are other ways.

Fifteen-year-old Jill is responsible for preparing lunch, which is served at noon. At 1:30, all the children ages 4 and under break for naps while the older children engage in group studies using materials from the Advanced Training Institute International, an organization that produces Bible-based home instruction materials.

At 4, the children work on individual studies while Jana, 17, prepares dinner, which is served at 5.

Dang!! And here I get all excited when my kid empties the dishwasher!!
