God I wish the fitting rooms were open as there were a few dresses that after seeing in person I’d of loved to of spent $$$$ on but I can wear anything between an xl-2x when it comes to Disney

No kidding, we bought my daughter a dress we were certain would fit in February... NOPE! And we tried but there was not way to quickly get in and out, so we're sitting 18 hours away with a dress that doesn't fit anyone. Hoping when we go back later this year they will let us exchange it.

LOL! You can wear them anywhere . I love the MMRR one but it definitely fits weird. I may have to try the Dalmatians one when I go for my birthday. I swore off all HerUniverse dresses because no matter how cute they are they just don’t fit right.

I’m tempted with the new Dalmatians one. I like the actual dress and color. I think it’s that cardigan that makes me not like it. I have a smaller navy cardigan that would probably work better with it...at least on my shape.

I've never purchased a Dooney & Burke. I never used to be a "bag" person, but I bought ONE Coach bag years ago and my husband decided that I must like Coach and that was an easy gift option for me, so that's pretty much all I have now. I've been impressed with how well they hold up. Are Dooney bags of a lasting quality? Do they start to look shabby at all after a while? Most of my bags are black or brown and don't show wear very quickly at all, but I'm afraid some of these lighter colored bags with prints on them might start to look dingy more quickly. What have your experiences been?

I have several and all have held up very nicely. I only have one that shows some wear and tear (my very first Dooney purchase) but it is a vinyl type backpack that has taken some serious abuse from theme park usage to travel and for about a year being my main carrier. It still looks good though.
I don’t own a Coach so I can’t compare the two.

I'm not a bag person either. Up until I got Invsialign braces, I would mostly put my wallet and keys in my pockets. That being said, I do have a couple of Coach purses and love them. Very recently I bought a Dooney that is the same fabric as the one anniebean has. I've had it for about 6 months to a year and it has gotten dirty. I also use mostly black bags because, if I look at white, it gets dirty. As I say that, I feel it is not a good comparison because I never brought my Coach purses to Disney, nor used them much because I hate carrying bags. Now, I bring my Dooney with me everywhere because I have to carry a ton of things for my braces. I love them both though.

That's what I was afraid of with white because I also can NOT keep white looking clean. But like you said, taking a bag into the parks is a lot different than normal use. I know my park backpack gets ABUSED. I wasn't really thinking about bringing it to the parks, just for use as a regular purse.

I think it would be absolutely fine in that case. I did get the Dooney Haunted Mansion blue mini backpack and I love it. These are the two I have. I also have a wristlet but it’s way bigger than my favorite Coach one so I don’t really use it. My Coach wristlet I have had for the better part of 20 years. And other than the tag I keep missing with, it looks as perfect as when I got it. And I did use it all the time for a number of years.
Make sure you share which one you end up getting.

No, it’s been retired for a while, I believe, I bought that back in February 2015 during my honeymoon at Disneyland.

I'm planning on running the 2022 marathon if they have it non-virtually and if I manage to get a spot before it sells out, so I think I might wait and see what they have for that. It would be more meaningful. They'll probably come up with something to celebrate the 50th, though, right? That might be a good one!

I agree, you need to wait until you fall in love with one before you purchase. However, when you do, POUNCE! When they sell out, the markup on eBay and Mecari is ridiculous!

Absolutely agree with anniebean here. I normally refuse to spend more than what I would get something for with my passholder discount, but I did fall in love with the HM backpack (I have the dress, MB, and my husband has the matching-ish shirt). I found it on eBay for a great price, and actually got it for less than retail. anniebean helped me decide whether it was worth it or not LOL!! BUT... I have seen them for $300-$400. It is CRAZY!!!

Sometimes you can YouTube it and someone will post a review on the Dooneys, and will go over inside pockets and color. Not sure about Loungefly stuff though.
