The Drama Improves! (a continuation of my whine thread)

If you did not follow my previous thread we are taking my DH's family (in an effort to improve familial relationships) to Disney this coming weekend. Unfortunately, my DH was not granted time off.

He was able to switch shifts with coworkers to get Saturday and Sunday off but was going to have to fly home on Friday to work his shift. He was not at all enthusiastic about this but agreed with me that it made the most sense to buy 2 tickets instead of changing/buying 3 tickets.

Then! This week! Pixie Dust! Disney Magic! Tremendous Good Luck! Or perhaps villanous arm twisting!

I was not present so can only speculate that it could be one or the other. But the person ahead of DH for leave switched priority places with him making DH the first in line. Then there was an extra trainee to work the shift! SO regardless of the means, the end is that DH does not have to fly home on Friday to work! He gets to have the weekend with his family!

Thank you all for your support/condolences/well wishes/prayers/ for a happy extended family trip!!! Wish us luck! T-Minus 20 hours and counting...
