Well, I had every intention of riding the newly-reopened railroad yesterday. However, by the time I got in line for it at the NOS stop -- around 9:45 (1:45 past rope drop)-- the line was long (expected). However, what I didn't expect was that when the train stopped, no one got off. Consequently, no one got on. So: next Sunday I plan to ride the train first thing (as a few friends did yesterday. Wisely). But folks, be advised: it seems that people are only getting off where they got on -- the Main Street station. So if you plan to ride it anytime soon (and why wouldn't you?), get in line at the MSS. Otherwise, it seems like a pointless venture. I suspect this will settle down in coming weeks, but for now...

Hope this helps.

I tried to ride it yesterday as well. Waited at Toon Town for a bit but no one was getting off so no one could get on, like you. Tried again at Main Street later but they weren't letting anyone on there and told everyone to go to NOS. Tried to get on at NOS but the wait was over an hour for the train, and they were letting people do one ride around and that was it. I figure the train will be around so I didn't bother. It's not going to change.

Agreed. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to ride it, but in a world of disappointments, this ranks pretty low ;-). I look forward to riding it next Sunday. @ashley0139, keep an eye out for me :-). I'm usually wearing a bright blue Cubs cap.

Honestly, we went on Saturday and had no problems, usually waited 2-3 trains, but not bad when they were running three trains, although they did have some glitches that only allowed them to run two trains for a good part of the day. I wonder how many trains were running yesterday and as for not letting people on at Main Street, that has been known to happen when there is only one train running, it is rare, but usually it means everyone must get off at New Orleans Square, as they enforce a one round trip rule for everyone and since they don't know where each individual person go on, they use New Orleans Square. The reason they don't use Main Street is has stairs with no ramp option, making it not accessible for everyone.

Yep, this is what was happening yesterday afternoon.

Pretty sure there was only one train running yesterday. A friend tried to get on at TT and was told there was only one train every 30 mins.
