Hey ya-yas, a small favor for you all please. I just made a post on corporate politics looking for a bit of help for one of my classes. I need examples of corporate politics from other people. So, if you could possibly either check out that thread and help me out... or if you have no idea what I'm talking about if you could at least maybe bump it up for me throughout tomorrow while I'm at school all day that'd be great. I'm afraid with such a boring subject it's going to sink like a lead weight to the bottom of the CB pretty quickly, and often. I could be wrong, maybe it'll be a hit post (haha, yeah right ), but just in case I'll ask in advance for a bit of help from you all here to help me out and at least keep it on page one now and then tomorrow (Wednesday)! Carol..I had forgotten about ginger and nausea. Hmmm wondering if I should pick up some ginger caplets and see if it helps.

I could use a little YaYa pixie dust today. My boss will be talking with the gastro and I am going to see my regular doc. All this on top of having killed my back sometime yesterday. I cant move my neck or arms without terrific pain in my left shoulder blade. Someone shoot this old horse and put me out of my misery please! LOL

JUst got my sleeping beauty off to her preschool halloween party There were 3 Sleeping beauties! A Mulon, Belle, Cinderella, Jesse. I knoew I picked the right preschool!!!

Yea!! I can't believe you found the wool so fast Carol!!! I find knitting for men harder than knitting for women. Finding the right color and "feel" Maybe it's just the men in my life.

Did you know I inspired Marylin to pick crocheting up again!?!! She's making and afghan, and when it's done I get to come to her house and sleep under it and eat cookies in bed

How's it going anyway Marylin? I don't remember what color you're doing.

A friend there has a son that the drs. are concerned about... they want him videotaped (that's where I come in) on the playground for a day, and then he goes to the specialists. His regular ped. is thinking cerebral palsy. Poor baby.



Now if I could just figure out what I'm going to do with myself during the non recess portion of the day. *Sigh* This could be a very long day.

Actually, I am crocheting a dog. I don't have any pets.

Naw, just a nice afghan for the bed in the spare room.

Jennifer, I painted the room light moss (thyme?) green. The bedspread is that color, darker green fern leaves, very pale pink and cream little flowers here and there, so the afghan is 1. larger section of cream 2. smaller section of thyme green 3. few rows cream 4. a section of pale pink (smaller than the green section), then pattern will start over again.

Lynne, DH is an electrical engineer working as an applications engineer at this job (I don't think I ever mentioned it before, just DS's direction).
DH's workplace just had lay-offs (but we're okay...for now).

Don't all fall down or anything - but I am roasting a turkey! Me!!! Who hates to cook! I'm doing it for tonight's Boy Scout Court of Honor/Dinner for DS's troop. I'm the joke of the troop because they all know that I had to cook. They think I'm bringing store bought cookies - won't they be surprised!!!!

I sat at another Scout's Mom's house last night for almost 5 hours making centerpieces. What we won't do for our Scouts, huh?

It snowed up here yesterday! Tomorrow is the Trick-or-Treat parade and DD's band is marching in it. She's in the dance line and has to wear a costume. She's going to be a ladybug - her costume consists of a long-sleeved leotard, black tights, black jazz shoes, a little ladybug pullover thing with wings on the back, and an antenna headband. It's supposed to really snow tomorrow ------ methinks we might have a frozen ladybug on our hands.

DS will just throw on a big old scary rubber mask and a cape.

I have to head into the office and see what chaos awaits me.
