Hope you had fun shopping Jennifer, even though you sound like me in Target...go in for one thing and come out with 2 bags of stuff. I'm sure I really need everything I buy though...yeah, that's it...I really need it.

Rice cream. OK Tank Dork goes to pick up Carol in the tank so we can go buy 2000 lbs of rice and whatever else goes in Rice Cream so she can make enough to go with Nancy's cookies.

What Betty? Betty yells at Marilyn to pick up toilet paper while she is at the store. Great, Marilyn is now in charge of the toilet paper for the cabin. Geez!

Hello all. Well, I am feeling better, I took some clarinex and so far that has cleared up my green ick. Was very good that I went to work to help clear up a "situation" from yesterday. I had a hellish day. Can't stop to chat now, but I NEED cookies and lovin! I will be back after my PTA board meeting (which I now need to make cookies for!)

Well, everyone, cookies are baked

The cut out pumpkin ones only made 15 fair sized pumpkin-shaped cookies!! What's with that!! Not enough.....so I also made Blondes Blondies (from Diane Mott Davidson) and some kind of pumpkin bars......help yourself, but they aren't iced yet.

So......that's my "later" job.

Jennifer, shopping so much fun. Too bad it costs so much, eh?

Tomorrow is my shopping day....yeehaw!! Target AND Costco and the "little" mall and a couple more stores(gotta Christmas shop).
Taking 2 different checking books with me...hehehe, I'm ready!

Today is a little better, but still need to get the 'tude straightened out. A friend today, asked me what was wrong. I told her I didn't know, I was just p***** at everybody. I don't even have a reason! Sigh... oh, well... guess I'll get over it eventually.

Hey Elaine!! I'm up to 10 now. I bought the Disney charm that says MINNIE in pink, then found a cute little Zopinni mouse to go with it. Aren't I just sooooo clever. (Don't answer that!)

Ya know, I was thinking after I got the charms... maybe I should've been shopping for wigs instead though. Jay... You're NOT going to try to curl my hair with that light saber or anything are you?!?

Pam, Your poor DD!! She must've been freaking out! It took me almost 15 min. to get that stupid clip out and I was already beginning to panic.

Nancy! I've seen the gingerbread house at the GF! It is so incredible! I've got pictures of it around here somewhere. If I can find one, I'll post it. I felt so silly when we discovered that house. I was walking around the outside of this cute little gift shop and I kept smelling gingerbread! I couldn't figure out where it was coming from and decided it was being vented in from somewhere for effect. DOH! Then I realized the gift shop WAS gingerbread!!


Nancy, I would love to go Yankee candle shopping with you!! You have closets full of Yankees!?!? OH MY!!

VENT ON

I went to back to the gastro about my stomach today. Basically I was told to go on Paxil for it.....NO WAY and that he would not increase the dosage of my anti-nausea meds. Guys this is the ONLY way I can eat. If I dont take it I might as well just go hungry since everything makes me nauseated. 10mg is no longer cutting it for me. It works but it doesnt get rid of all the nausea. There is a stronger dosage of this med but he refuses to give it to me. Then he got cute and wrote the RX out for 60 but made a six week appt and didnt give me any refills on it. Now I cant even take two if I need it! He said it cant be that bad since I havent lost any weight. Like DUH its BECAUSE of the med that I havent lost any weight. Take it away from me or cut it down and your gonna see me lose weight in a big fat hurry because I wont be able to eat anything. I dont do nausea well and I dont throw up so therefore I wont eat if that causes it. Im just so mad and upset I could spit. I talked with my boss who is a doctor and he is going to talk to my gastro about it. My boss mentioned something about hormones and is going to talk to the gastro about that also. I also have an appt with my regular doc tomorrow to discuss all of this.

Karen...PAXIL??? Don't you just HATE it when a male doc assumes that just because HIS treatment hasn't worked you must be a hysterical female??!!???? AUGHHHH!!!! It is that sort of attitude that made me leave Nursing! Paxil is an excellent drug...for those who need it. Good job making follow up appointments and asking your boss about this. If this gastro's attitude continues...DUMP him!!! There must be others in your area?

Shopping with two checkbooks!!! Heh heh heh...now that's MY kind of shopping!!! I really need to start my Christmas shoppin too!! LOL...Kim, well, I like a sale...and there was a little gift-type store that was closing ...and they had YC...sooooooo, I bought a "few"
A couple burners, etc.
And everytime I go to the mall that has a store, I just "have" to buy more (and I can't burn them that fast )
I got my friend addicted too....to jars and then I bought her a burner and tarts and told her how good they are. While we were shopping that same day, she bought another dozen tarts....before she even had taken hers home
I only get to burn them while DH is out of the house.

Karen....this is the place to vent...go right ahead.

I SO wish I knew how to write like this!! Every year, we plan a treasure hunt for Cam for Halloween. We turn off the lights, and he spends an hour or two following silly little clues that my mom writes. Last year, all of the clues were based on Star Trek, the Next Generation since he was so into it at the time. This year, his favorite is MASH, so that will be the theme this time.

Jodie....I think he took something I said seriously even though he seemed to make fun of it. I said normally people get panic attacks and then get physical symptoms. I have the physical symptoms which are causing the panic. Im feeling a little crazy right about now. Seems if there is an odd way to have something happen it will happen to me. I hope this isnt the reason for the paxil. IM NOT NUTS. This is physical and yes it is causing an emotional reaction. It was an innocent comment on how I was feeling. He made some comment about everyone being a little nuts in their own way and the people you dont think are nuts is because you dont know them well enough. Not too long after that he suggested the Paxil and said its a first line drug for use in Dyspepsia and irritable bowel which he says I have. I dont want to take this drug. It has WAY too many side effects trying to come off of it. Now he lessens the one drug that is helping me. If he wants to see weight loss he is gonna see it because I wont be eating much at all. Ive been messing with my stomach for almost a year now and its getting very very old. I hope between my boss the doctor and my regular doc and the gastro they can find something that works. I just want it over.

I havent even thought about Christmas shopping. I need to get the kids to make a list out for me. Dh and I dont buy for each other we only buy for our kids and the neices and nephews.

Christmas shopping? I'm halfway done. Makes it easier to finish it by Thanksgiving so you can avoid all of the holiday crowds. If you *really* want to have fun, go to a mall a couple days before Christmas, pull up a bench and watch the people panic. It's interesting to see the psychology and how everyone reacts differently. They all have one thing in common. A panic/glazed look in their eyes. Hopefully none of you will be one of them this year!!!
