Been one of those long days. Today was Drug Awareness Day at the middle school. They threw so much information at the kids. Don't know about them but my head was swimming. I then stayed after to get "How to be a 7th grade Language Arts Teacher 101 crash course" from the teacher that I will be filling in for. Now my head is bursting with information. Get home and the world keeps turning. Just now got a chance to sit down and relax. No fighting for Betty Spaghetti tonight.

Marilyn, the toilet paper was for a TP job that is being planned for a future date. Does anyone know how to change the color of toilet paper to Girl Scout Green? Just felt that our trip to Michigan last night needs some finishing touches. A poopy leader likes that needs some toilet paper to clean up after herself. I do believe she is full of @#$%.

So glad that Jay had to check his little detail about whether he is a sister or brother. Sorry just had to point that out.

I have a question for the evening discussion. It is inspired by Karen's vent.

How come when your doctor prescribes a medicine that includes as one of its side effects as weight gain, then why doesn't the weight gain go away when you have finished the medicine?

Betty because it makes you gain fat rather than water etc... and we all know its much easier to gain the fat than lose the fat.

Evening everyone! Just got out of our neighborhood meeting. Not bad. It's the first one ever since this is a new street. Only bad thing is it looks like we have to replace part of our driveway. not good. Since our builder warranty expired 6 months ago.

I can't answer Betty's question of the night. Maybe doctor just like to examine heavy women?

But here is one for you....How do you explain to your 8 year old daughter that the other 8 yr old girl on the street is a stuck up b**** because her mother is a stuck up," I live in a showcase house and we have 200 sq ft more than you do and don't you love our bonus room" stuck up b****? Makes me laugh! We work really hard and enjoy everything we have. And we have never wished for life to be any better than it is right now. (Can you tell this is an area I'm really secure in? )

So this doesn't make me mad. I just blow her off and laugh behind her back. But that's probably not what I should teach Paige to do.

This mom spent the evening making sure everyone knew she is special. She actually had the nerve to say my house is crooked to the road. What kind of lamo stupic comment is that!?!?! And her 8 yr od daughter says "yeah, I've noticed that too." All the kids were in the basement of my friends house and Paige said the girl was going on and on..... Now I'm trying to explain this all to PAige without calling this family names. Or laughing at them.

Nice idea Karen about that neck rub, but I am too tired to even get a neck rub. I would be out for the rest of the night and I need to get at least one load of laundry done tonight. Anyone else here do at least one load a day or any of you the type that has a laundry day? (My mom used to do all the laundry on Monday. I don't know how she did it)

The drug awareness day was awesome! But I found myself talking to the other teachers about how it was like a day at EPCOT. There was just too much information presented in so many different ways. One advantage about living in Orlando is you can visit EPCOT and do only two or three pavilions per day and really see what they have to offer and not get information overload. Oh for the days of living in Orlando

Jennifer, all you can tell Paige is that there are many different type of people in the world and we need all their different points of view to be able to form our own and to appreciate what we have and to appreciate each other.

By the way, I watched a show last night at 10. I think it was CSI or something like that. I believe that it starred the red hair guy from NYPD and an actress who looked like Kim Delandy. The subject matter was about a little girl's murder/pedifile/serial killer. I found it to be really disturbing. They actually had child actors playing the dead bodies. Has anyone watched this show before? Is is always so dark?

You know it would have to have a star wars theme or something along those lines. I am thinking that we paint his room black, take those little stars and planets that glow in the dark and put all over his walls and ceilings, pin up a picture of whatsherface in his shower, give him midnight blue carpet, make his bed look like one of those space vehicles they flew, and put a little stuffed Ewok on it. His lamp would have to be a black light to make all the stars and planets glow. Help me out here ladies, I am not a Star Wars fan, can you tell?

And by the way, what are the rest of you doing with your rooms anyway. I have the ocean room, Marilyn has the er um Moose room, Kama has the Olympics room, but what about the rest of you? We don't need to call Hilde do we?

That would be CSI Miami betty. I don't like that show or the regular CSI one either. I find them to be gruesome. But they are really popular. I see enough blood and guts in my regular job without seeing the Hollywood version of it.

We just watched 8 simple rules again tonight. It is so cute. DD and I just howl at some of the stuff those girls pull on their father. Tim just looks at us dumbfounded because he has no clue what is so funny.

Um, Jay has two rooms Bonnie. I took the liberty to give him the massage room and a television room for his manly football games. I think that if we get one of those flat screen tvs that it would fit nicely into the futuristic Star Wars theme.
