Michele, I'm not sure of the reckless driving laws here, traffic school didn't get into that but I imagine if he felt I had been driving recklessly in some way, he would've called me on it one way or another. This is a very easy area to go too fast in... 5 lanes, just a few feet from open highway, etc... so if you're not concentrating on it, it's easy to let the speedometer creep up as you're approaching the highway. Apparantly my mind was indeed elsewhere that morning. Bad Kimmy.

Jodie, I wish I could give you a real hug. I have no words for you my friend... just know that you're loved, we're here for you and although I've said it a dozen times already, I'll say it again...we're praying for you here each and every day.

Anyone have a pr of ear plugs??? My son is practicing the recorder. Picture a cat with its tail caught under a rocking chair and that is the sound that is coming out of the bedroom as I type. The hair on the back of my neck is actually standing up.

He is trying sooooooo hard on that thing. He just slaughtered Jingle Bells...or I "think" thats what it was supposed to be ROFL. Im sitting here trying desperately not to laugh. I know what he's going through I played the violin in grade school. At least he wont be doing the recorder that much longer. He gets to pick his real instrument for band next week. So now I will have the Viola practice five nights a week for strings and two days practice for whatever instrument he gets next week for band.

There are 2 big brothers and a set of parents up in heaven having a good laugh.

Oh, Kim all that volunteering in the schools was when I was a stay at home mom. It also covers 12 years, 7 schools(not counting preschools), and 5 cities. I had to figure out a way to meet the other moms when I was the new kid

on the block. So now you know why I started subbing. I figured I should get paid $ for my time. Actually, I don't do anything as a sub (with the exception of being boogered) that I didn't volunteer to do in the past.

Jay, I would like to schedule a massage for Friday around 3. Would that be convenient for you?

Bonnie, just to read that you DD is singing in the backyard gives me hope for my DD. She likes to jump on the trampoline, dance and sing at the top of her lungs all at the same time. She is so comical to watch.

Okay I have a small dilema here. I just went 11 minutes over on my cell phone plan for the month so I decided to look for a new plan. I just found out I could upgrade to a new plan that will cost me the same but give me 50 extra anytime minutes ($40 total) Now I could go for 150 more minutes that what I currently have for a total of $45. What would you do?

If this is the first time that you have gone over in minutes then I would do the upgrade of 50 extra minutes at $40 but if you have gone over in the past then do the $45 deal.

Betty, That's exactly how I ended up on the sub list at the school. I was always there and/or available anyway, so after a few months I found myself getting called in to sub.

Elaine, if you have gone over a lot, I would opt for more minutes. However, it sounds like you haven't done it that much. I would save that $5.

Well this is the first time I have gone over, but I have had to curb my usage toward the end of the month big time. I'm thinking with my upcoming Disney trip that the extra 150 will be so much smarter for me to have and I can always change back to less. I hate these choices
